I took a wedding with this camera and I think I save the videos in a computer after that, I reshoot twice in the same camera after I found out that I did not save the previous work and now I try to restore it on the camera but unfortunately I did not get any result. Is there some way to recover what was deleted from this camera:)

Is it possible to use a laptop as a monitor for this camera? I can use my tv by connecting it to the camera via an HDMI cable, but that doesn't work with my laptop. The manual does not state whether or not it is possible by using a USB cable. I am not about to experiment and ruin my camera, so an informed answer would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

+Emin Mahmutefendic I don’t believe the camera will record to memory card and internal memory at the same time. The internal memory is hard to access, you can not connect to a computer to access it like most cameras. The manual suggests using a powered external hard drive. It is much easier to use a memory card.

It's old and also bad value for the price. It's basically a big plastic case around a normal small camcorder. This doesn't have any to do with professional camcordes. It even has no XLR. It's just for the looks.

It is generally more difficult to capture background blur on dedicated video camcorders, because they tend to have what's called a deep depth of field. Things at many different distances from the camera will likely be in focus all at once. However, the principles of bokeh (fancy name for background blur) are the same. Have your in-focus subject close to the camera, and the background as far away from the subject and camera as possible. For more in-depth tutorials, just search bokeh (or boca, the spelling varies) tutorial on KZbin. There are dozens of good instructionals that should help you out.

Character Keep away from the background and focus the Character , then your background will be blurred. If you have a DSLR camera then insert the lens 85.50. and keep the Character away from the background. It is imperative if you have to Blur the background.

It might be able to, but it has a relatively small sensor that is made specifically for video. If your phone has a camera, it will likely take higher resolution stills.

Our camera comes built with NTSC framerates. It sounds like yours is PAL. Sometimes manufacturers split how they sell their cameras by region like this. Look up PAL vs. NTSC standards if you want to learn more.

We haven't tried the BNC connection on this camera specifically, but yes, this should be accessible within the menu. Look for the "video output" setting, or something like that. The BNC connector is for composite analog output only. It fooled me as well in the beginning as I thought it was SDI.

Hi there! I use a 32 GB external memory card to record games. For some reason, the camera does not record the game in one clip, but in multiple clips of between 11 and 12 minutes (but never longer then 12 min). While recording, I see nothing that suggests that the game is being broken into clips. Grateful if you could help with this.

This camera records in AVCHD, which cut file after recording 10+ min or having 3,5GB. The file is and will be displayed in camera as one file but when exporting to PC - two or more files.

I use it for live streaming horse show events successfully all the time. You just need either an internal capture card or USB capture device. I use Blackmagic Design products, but originally I had a AverMedia card that worked just fine.

There are ways to connect external microphones, which are touched on briefly in this video. However, there are no full size XLR inputs. Thankfully, microphones that use the 3.5mm jack can be just as capable as their more traditional counterparts. If you still want to record sound using XLR microphones, adapters exist that can bridge the gap. Or just record your sound separately into a dedicated sound recorder.
