Sony ICF-SW7600 receiver restoration

I have this Receiver since 33 years. Ten years ago the am reception was fading away (machine gun noise on AM). So i changed all electrolyt capacitors and the goldcap. It was a project of 2 months... Today i haven't so much time. But my ICF SW7600 is still running.

That C127 is hidden! I got a kit of caps on eBay and replaced all the caps I could see, but I had one left over. Then I found your video, and the comment about C69 and C127, and went looking for C127 on the schematic in the service manual. It's under a metal shield. Before I replaced that cap, I couldn't tune in anything (even though I had replaced ~20 other caps). Now I can get one FM station -- but it's the same station regardless of what frequency is shown on the display.

Curious. Double check the welding. Also, check again the capacitors values. Follow the service manual and check the voltages.

That strong light LED is a perfect touch! I only found white :< it looks ok and light up strong. Still looking for a yellow/green one!

Great video! I have one of this model. There are no channels in FM/AM. All electrolytic capacitors are replaced. but same issue. voltages are correct. What can be the problem. Thanks.

Попадалось много таких,неисправность одна электролиты,если пораньше не поменять можно микросхему FM навернуть из за кондеров

This receiver I have owned for more than 35 years. The LED light shows on, however the mechanical switch does not access AM/FM/SW

Não creio que o custo seja o fator mais relevante aqui. Os capacitores são baratos se comprados no AliExpress ou eBay. Se você tiver habilidade com um ferro de solda isso não fica caro. Assim, no meu caso, tudo custou algumas horas de trabalho (diversão) e poucos reais.
