this reminds me of a publisher I used to work at. we had just put out a new arcade cabinet for a game called polyibus, and we had only sold like 20-30 of them, we realized people didnt want to play it and management cut losses and bought them all back, except for like maybe 1 or 2 copies that we could never hunt down.
