The game flopped. Numbers capped at 72k on steam, and are dropping. They might break 100k over the weekend, but it won’t be even close to the profits that BioWare needs to make. As of this post, Xbox only has 174 reviews, and Sony has 456. Can’t see the number of players online for console, but it’s gotta be something similar to Steam, if not less.

its out couple of hours & got released very late in some countries. so reviews on consoles doesnt rly say much. so 72k players or 100k players = flop is kinda wild. that just means every single game in the recent years just flopped except wukong & helldivers. + u can play the game on EA & epic launcher. which is prob not much but still adds up prob to total 200k on all platforms atm (when considering HD2 had 45k players on Ps5 while Steam had 60-70k at that time)

To be honest I think it's due to those people not touching grass enough. I'm fourth-year game dev student and I was second year teaching assistant and oh my. One person made a game about being an ally to a trans person, it was the most boring game from all the games students were presenting. There were trans/LGBTQ people there who actually made cool games so it's not all of them. In my year I didn't notice the agenda being pushed that hard but it's getting worse. (I'm 24 centrist/ slight liberal from Europe so not the same as US) Younger people seem increasingly out of touch with reality, they seem to live in their made-up worlds, and it's sad to see. I'm 41 and basically haven't played any new games for the last 3 years, I started losing interest because I felt like I was getting too old, but also the quality of gaming was declining, but it's clear that I would still be playing games if they actually still made good games. The last AAA game I remember really enjoying and playing all the way through was Doom Eternal. Robocop: Rogue City was alright but I definitely wouldn't call it AAA. Maybe I'll return to gaming in a few more years if the industry can get their shit together, but for now I'm fine not giving these companies any of my money. For now, if I'm going to play anything, it's going to be an older game.

I've said this a few times and Im gonna keep saying it; EA did not add LGBT content because they care about their movement. They did it to skew reviews, thats why all companies do that.
