I had bought this in Jan 2017, the left swivel hinge came off in Sep 2020, followed the above method, it has got fixed, saved me from buying a new one. Thank You!

Yes of course ! Either directly from Sony(which can be very expensive ) or look for another broken or faulty pair for parts .
