More people should be making products like this across ALL types of consumer products. We throw a way so much stuff because one poorly designed plastic part fails, switch breaks, etc. This ~$10 near replica plastic parts saved me from having to buy all new headphones($300 or more). Instructions were clear and I was up and running again in five minutes. Can't say enough good things about this.

Thank you for making this kit. I was really annoyed when the side pieces on this $300 unit cracked - my dad’s 1973 premium headphones are still very much in one piece. Instructions were easy to follow, just one word of advice: make sure to properly align the pieces before snapping them together, as it can be very difficult to separate them again.

Very easy solution, I tend to use the headphones way more often now they are fixed. They sit nice on the head again. Central Sound did a fast delevery to the Netherlands where I live, within a week I got the package.

Excellent improved pieces, much more robust than the original ones. Shame to Sony for not using Nylon in the first place: the headphones themselves are excellent, when used both with noise reduction and without it, but this was a very weak point, now solved thanks to these Central Sound parts. The XM3’s back panel of the slider has a thin loop around the front that prevents them from being taken off unless you deconstruct the whole damn headphone, which I’m not sure how to do.
