Imagine misdirection plays with those two explosive ballcarriers and all the attention it'll demand running behind our improved offensive line from the one last seen in the super bowl (Wynne pick, Trent Brown trade with the 49ers, and the healthy return of Cannon all of whom are above average pass and run blockers). That's not even mentioning the play action game that the Pats love and you have a dam near unstoppable offense with Gronkowski and Edelman roaming around too

Barkley is clearly better than Michel. However, that said, Michel is fucking AWESOME! Quite a few premium offensive players are being way overlooked this year because of the star studded list of QBs that everyone's talking about. Barkley and Michel are clearly the top 2 RBs in the draft.

Barkley is a proven featured RB with a wide range of skills... break away speed, tremendous vision across the field, breaks tackles, proven receiver, kick returner and freaky strength. Sony has tremendous skills as well but not yet proven as a featured back. Time will tell.

Creates a ton of downward force when he runs (pushes off the ground) and you see this with all the great backs. Compare this with a Rashaad Penny and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Then watch someone in the pros that used the ground when he ran (like Barry Sanders!) This is awesome to see. This, along with his vision and acceleration, will make him an unbelievable pro - without question!!!

Georgia had an undersized line, in a run defense conference. Chubb and Sony were both able to put up 1,000 yards while splitting carries 5 ways (Chubb, Sony, Swift, Herrien, E-holy). Alabama has had a huge o-line that opened big holes for their backs. And that showed with Ingram just now getting the numbers in the NFL, Richardson just being a complete non factor with his transition, Yeldon being third fiddle on the Jags, but Henry was the only that came in ready. With that being said, these Georgia backs should do well in the next level, as should Barkley.

Good LORD this sucks as a Pats fan to go back and rewatch… the dude comes in as a rookie and really made some plays for us, and since then he’s been a shell of himself. Doesn’t run through guys like he did in college or bounce off of tackles as well, he doesn’t seem as motivated and his speed lacks as it is so it’s hard to do much when you aren’t as physical as you once were in college.
