One thing I garnered from watching this highlight reel is YES Derrick Henry is a freak of a back (immense speed, power elusiveness to run through and around opposing defenses) but that the Alabama Offensive line was DOMINATING the line of scrimmage and moving guys off the ball all the way into the 3rd level into the secondary. You can't overlook that!!!! Lol

I’m pretty sure he was drafted in like the 45th pick. Every year the steal of the draft comes in the 40’s.Derrick Henry Alvin Kamara Micheal Strahan Micheal Thomas Leveon Bell Rob Gronkowski and many more!So if your team got a pick in the 40’s your lucky.

Cool notice. I remember when pundits were criticizing my titans for taking him "too early" when they already had DeMarco Murray. I laughed. I thought you guys overthink it. If you see a guy with the potential to be the best player at his position...coming off a heisman season at that...grab him. I loved the pick. Wanted him to start since day 1, but even i didn't think he would be THIS good. My MVP

@Terror8323 жыл бұрын
His weaknesses according to NFL scouting report - With almost 400 touches this year, scouts are concerned about his workload - Averaged almost 32 carries against SEC comp including 90 carries over his final 2 regular season games - tall, long strider who takes time to build up his speed - average foot quickness can lead to tackles for losses if he gets too cute in the backfield - needs to improve his second read as a zone runner - ineffective in the passing game with below average hands - narrow based running style allows defenders to trip him up - more run finisher than tackle breaker with just 7 broken tackles compared to Fournettes 22 - sluggish cutback ability once he’s outside the tackle box
