Sony PMW- F55 Review (Part 1)

I'm wondering if there's any way this camcorder (with or without external devices) can perform pre-programmed "interval recording" WITH audio if I need it. For example 1, to 1 1/2, to 2 second clips at one minute intervals WITH audio. This is not to be confused with "time lapse" recording (which as you probably know is totally different). ... Also what is the best video software to use with this item, OR with an item similar to this one, such as Sony's PXW-Z750 4K ? Regardless of which camcorder I go with, I'll need to implement a lot of special effects and "green screen" production. So, if you please, which video software would you recommend?
