I remember first seeing one of these in Terminator and I so desperately wanted to get one! 11 years later, I bought a GPD Win 3, and only now am I realising how much inspiration GPD took from Sony's handheld. From the sliding mechanism, placement of the keyboard beneath the screen, and even the dock is remarkably similar in design. I love my GPD Win 3, but I'd still love to have one of these :P

Oh my god that is actually so impressive. Imagine a slightly bigger and more beefy variant of this handheld... would've been like a handheld xbox 360/ps3 for the time. Running Half Life 2 like that is still very impressive. Thanks for the review bro!👍

5:57 Dont we all love that?! 😏 Old junky tech never dissapoints, theres just something about the designs, the buttons and dear lord were they stacked with features! Something you kinda miss from modern tech where its all just a square with a touchscreen for the most part and kinda sad that we been stuck on that formula for like over a decade now, when back then we had something new to look at every single year! Sony, Nokia, you name em, they really tried to give us inovative tech for on the go! :)

I desired to own a UMPC throughout all my childhood. 🥲 And actually bought one in 2017 or so, once was able to earn some money. Well, I used it for about 1 year, and then sold for about the same price. Reason number 1 was - the screen is too incredibly small. Like really, things look fine on this video, but IRL it's like 2 match boxes. You need to keep the device 10 cm from your eyes to see anything. And it hurts eyes like crazy, it's almost unusable. So, a netbook is probably the minimum, if you want smaller size carry-around computer.
