I'm so sorry for your loss Phillip. Following you over the years it is very clear how much you loved your father and how much he loved you. One of my favorite quotes from you is this: "My dad came home ever day miserable... hated his job, and it wasn't a horrible job he just didn't like it. That's the key thing you need to be in it for the right reasons." That impacted me completely and I related closely with that and I believe I always will. You may never know this Phillip, but you are truly one of my biggest inspirations in life. Just as I assume your father is to you. I imagine he's up there smoking a nice tall cigar, Cheers to that beautiful man now in the heavens. Rest in Peace, Arnie Bloom.

By seeing you and how you filmed your father, he must have been a great one. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing him and thank you for the reviews. Over the years you helped me choose, in order, the Sony a7s, Panasonic gh4, gh5, sony a7s III, dji mini 3 pro, sony fx6, and just now this zv-e1. I loved every camera, but had to sell everything to get the fx6. It was so worth it for run and gun mostly solo. But big lenses kinda ruined that for me (150-500 mm and 105mm f1.4) had to put a cage, it got big and too obvious. This zv-e1, solved that, it's an accessory to the lens :D I miss nothing from the a7sIII which I sold as used for more than the zv-e1 cost new. Thank you for the time and patience to make these videos, they must have helped a lot of people.

Thanks you so much. That’s very kind of you!

Would you use the ZVE1 for long interviews ? taking into account it overheats in certain condition ? I'm torn because I don't make enough money with my fx3 and the ZV-E1 would be a better choice, especially because I travel a lot and need light gear. And the stab is better so I won't need gimbal as much anymore. This and other features like animal AF and synchro scan.
@AtentieCadMere5 ай бұрын
@@laurenthenry for interviews I would go for something else. Fx30, a7sIII … mine overheats in 25 minutes in a comfortable temperature for me 24-26 c. It works for the way I record, stop and start, but it would not for a long interview.

He and my now deceased father had an incredible life as businesspeople and motorsports contenders and half a dozen other things. It was sad to know the news at the time. It was then that I wanted to give you and your family a hug. Ever since my grandmother left me when I was in college, I've realised that we seem to be losing all the time. Growing up, losing my childhood, losing my former classmates, and for a long time I was in a state of grief. But I've since figured out that all those people and objects that seem lost are just there for us in a different way. I keep the dolls my grandmother gave me and will always remember the memories she and I made. Likewise, everything from the past I treasure in my heart. So, I'm sure your dad was just there for you in a different way too. I've always found documenting with a camera to be a wonderful memory. We can keep the sounds and smiles of the people we love and our memories forever. I hope everything will get better and your dad is really just there for you in a different way. Hugs again to you and your family.

I'm sorry for your loss. Keep your head up, KZbinland needs you. This review says so much about this camera. As we got it the first time in our hands, we were blown away what kind of camera Sony had released. I for myself fell in love with the stabilisation out of this little thing, as I hate to use gimbals and tripods. People always wanted to test all the other great cameras in our line up, but no one gave a fck about this litte ZV-E1. We really had to push people to try it and once they tried it, they understood. I like the A7SIII but I love how small and lightweight this little thing is, how precise the Af is doing it's thing and combined with something like the 16-35mm F4, this camera becomes such a perfect little production cam - you just have to love it. Thx for the review.
