💔💔💔 I lost my father in June 2024, he was about same age as ur dad born few months after him. I always wanted to shoot his portraits and tried to capture videos on his birthdays but couldn't film him or record our conversations. And I feel jealous that you are such an amazing son who used his skills to immortalize him for yourself and your whole family. I think every child should do this for themselves. I would love to see you do a test of the a7iv .

But I do love the ability to film in 4k at 60fps with the a7siii.

The previews a7iii is still a great video camera as well. But it can only film 4k up to 30fps .

Technology has become so dizzying. I always wonder how Philip doesn't get overwhelmed by it all. So many screens, interfaces...Anyways great review as always.

I shoot my videos all the time with the a7siii and never had a problem with a lot of noise. I guess it depends on how you use it and the type of lens choice.

Hey Philip, have you considered making a tutorial on interviewing parents? I think its a brilliant idea for those still fortunate enough to have them. I think many are stuck in analysis paralysis as we want the best possible production to honour our folks. (Great production on the Air 3s too, btw).

I'm really surprised at the close up shots at the end. I didn't expect this. Very clear image and bokeh as well. We don't see many, if at all, shots like this filmed by a drone. Really shows what these little cameras are capable of.

Unrelated question if I may... what's your go to frame rate and what would you recommend for pomd5 for editorial footage?

A7C user here , It has frame markers , but only in video , not even when you are in the custom modes , thats a software feature , a better menu is a software features , not being able to change the exposure comp dial to do something different ( cause i dont use it ) is a software feature , but sony would not do it

Hi Philip, so my first visit to your channel and I was very impressed. I dropped by as I am about to buy a drone and the Air 3S seems to be getting good reviews. I did have a Mavic 2 some years ago so not my first venture into drone photography/video. You really do an awesome video , which although just 20 mins, was full of facts and advice. I’ll definitely be browsing all your other videos now and thanks for making my mind up - it’s a DJI Air 3S for me 👍
