I had a pair of Sony XM3s for about three years until I retired them in January for good. I got a pair of Sennheiser 450bt’s to fill the void in the mean time but I found the 950s and was stuck between the XM4s and the 950s. I don’t like the AirPod esque design of the XM5s which is why I haven’t considered them. This video helped me settle on the 950s.

I returned the sony xm4 because I had lip-sync with my tv's.. And I bought the headphone for this purpose.. And now I hesitate allready for 12 months to buy another kind of headphones.. It's was kind of a hassle to return them to the store..

Some headphones have a low latency game mode. I’d also recommend checking the settings on your tv as some tvs have an audio delay feature than can help.

@@MyTechGear Yes, but do these settings not interfere with normal watching without headphones ? And also,.. In the beginning the sound and image there is no problem.. But in time of watching the sound and image go out of sync.. This is also more when you switch on the tv from normal broadcast/cable tv to the internal apps like youtube. The switching between source of content on the tv.. gets the sound and image out of sync.. Then I just head to disconnect,.. and then it was in sync again.. But that was too much for me.. over and over again..

It depends on the tv. Some have an audio delay just for Bluetooth. It sounds like it might be your tv with the issue if it’s fine with some video sources and not others. Have you tried a different pair of headphones to see if you get the same issue?

@@MyTechGear After the sony xm4 I didn't buy other ones.. Because of not knowing why the sony had the problem on the two tv's here.. I thought maybe the anc is making it more difficult to stay in sync.. I googled and read that more people had the lyp-sync problem, .. I remember now. My problem now with the edifier wh950nb is that here it is only sold by a shop that is not so good. So I don't want to try it from them.. So the edifier is out of the quest now. And I don't want to spend too much because, if even the expensive sony's had this problem.. why spend that much money.. not knowing if it will work out.. And my tv that I use has no 3.5 connection. So a wired headphone is not possible.

@eurovisie2010 I’ve used even the cheaper Sony wh 720n to watch tv with and haven’t had any audio sync issues. It might be worth you seeing if you can borrow another pair of headphones from a friend who has no lip sync issues to see if it’s maybe an issue with your tv. Certainly older versions of Bluetooth had audio sync issues.

I don't know about the M4s .. but I got M3 and I can safely say 950NB much much better than M3 , the sound especially on dynamic preset sounds very pleasing .. and that's coming from someone who listening to Beyer 770 Pro everyday

excellent comparison between these two headphones, I would like to ask you if in the Edifier ANC it also works with the audio cable connected, (in Sony yes) I didn't find anything about it in the manual. thanks

Yes, wired or with Bluetooth, cancellation can be used

Depends on what’s most important to you. I have a video on this channel that compares both of them, and another 2 headphones, so I’d definitely recommend checking that out.

@@MyTechGear sounds good! i was wondering if you could look at the vokalen hyper pros or the picun f6s. these are fairly new to the market so i dont see these being mind blowing but id it seems like they could be a potential competitor. Also the f6s come with spatial audio and head tracking, the vokalens come with touch controls hehe. Would greatly appreciate ur thoughts on them :)
