I get the correct diameter surround for the woofer, vintage speakers are worthwhile re-edging, post Y2K Sony etc with plastic baffle I wouldn't bother with, just jam it with power and kill it

This is repair just for the sake of it. Atleast you could have got same size cone and taken the rubber surround out of it. Not worth it and not rwcommended!!

Hello i used Meguiar's endurance tire gel 8 years ago, i applied the gel inside and outside of the rubber of the speaker now 8 later the rubber is perfectly. I use this product for this kind of rubber in my speakers. Works perfectly
