SONY SRS-XB23 vs JBL FLIP5 SOUNDTEST Comparison(比較)

SONYのSRS-XB23は、新開発の約42×51mm口径の非対称形フルレンジスピーカーユニット「X-Balanced Speaker Unit」を搭載したBluetoothスピーカーです。
縦置きにも対応し、新開発のアルゴリズムによるモノラルモードで高音質で楽しめるようになっています。
また、横置き時にはアプリでステレオモードにも簡単に切り替えることができます。
SRS-XB23では、パッシブラジエーターがJBLのFLIP5のように本体側面に配置されています。
新開発のスピーカーユニット、そしてデュアル・パッシブラジエーター、さらにはSONYの先進の高音質技術によって、高音質かつ重低音のサウンドを楽しめます。
一方、JBLのFLIP5は、新開発の楕円形スピーカーユニットにより、FLIP4で2つあったものが1つになっています。
FLIP5のスピーカーユニットは44×80ｍｍ。
FLIP5単体で使えばモノラルかも知れませんが、それを感じさせない高音質を実現しています。
本来なら、SRS-XB23はモノラルモードでFLIP5と比較した方が良かったのかも知れません。
しかし、普段使いそうなのはステレオモードかなと思ったのと、横置き時にはステレオモードが最適だと思い、SRS-XB23はステレオモードで比較しています。
今回の比較も、Jazz、男性ボーカル曲、女性ボーカル曲の3曲を再生しています。
交互に再生しているので、聴き比べてみてください。
※今回のテストは、音質がどんな感じか疑似的に聴いてみるもので、品質を保証するものではありません。
何となく、雰囲気を伝われば嬉しいです。
できれば、重低音が聴けるイヤホンやヘッドホン、またはスピーカーを使いボリュームを大きくしていただけたら、聴き比べしやすいと思います。
僕的には、この動画でSRS-XB23ステレオモードをJBLのFLIP5聴き比べてみて、音の広がりという点ではSRS-XB23の方があると思いました。
中高音域が綺麗で伸びが感じられました。
一方、重低音ではFLIP5の方が強いと思いました。
全体的に低音よりなのか、迫力あるサウンドでした。
しかし、SRS-XB23は、アプリ内のイコライザーを調整することができるので、好みに寄せることもできます（今回はデフォルトのままです。）
比較すると、少し品が感じられるSONYのSRS-XB23、迫力のFLIP5とうように感じられました。
SRS-XB23とFLIP5のどちらが音質が良いのかの判断は、聴いた方によって好みが分かれるはずなので、僕にはできません。

実際に店舗で聴き比べてみました。最初はみなさんと同じくflip5の方が低音が出ていると思ってました。しかし、実際に聞いてみたらxb23の方が低音が体の芯まで響く(？)感じがしました。（太鼓の演奏を観ているときの感じです） flip5も低音は出ていますが、響く感じがしませんでした。ただ、ボーカルがsonyよりはっきり聞こえてきます。高音は潰れて聞こえません。低音はしっかり出ているが高音が潰れず、少しボーカルが引っ込んでるxb23か、中音域の輪郭がはっきりしていて、ボーカルが聴きやすいflip5のどちらかが良いかと言われてもこれは好みの問題になってくると思うので、判断できません。ただ、スピーカーが2つある方が余裕があるように聞こえました。これは非常に騒がしい店内での聞こえ方なので部屋で聞くと変わってくるかもしれません。全て個人的な意見です。

個人的な感想ですが、当初はSRS-XB23のモノラルモードとステレオモードを聴き比べると音質の差を感じるのがそこそこ難しいと感じていました。それを考えるとSRS-XB23のモノラルモードでもこの動画で感じたような感想（説明欄に記載）を持つと思います（品が感じられるのはSONYのSRS-XB23、迫力はFLIP5）。ただSRS-XB23をモノラルにすると伸びや広がりがステレオの時より少し低減するかも知れません。SRS-XB22との比較動画でステレオとモノラルを交互に再生しているので確認していただけたらと思います。（すいません夜にコメントに気がついたので聴き比べることができませんでした^^;）

イコライザーで調節することで低音を抑え中音域は聞きやすくはなりますが、こもる感じが解消されているかは僕にはわかりませんでした^^;

はじめまして。ちょうどこの二つで迷っていました。SONYの方はこの動画では綺麗に聴こえるのですが、こもった感じはSONYの方はありますか？ 聴き比べをさせていただいて、 SONYの方がこもっていない感じがしました。これは、 好みでそう聴こえるのでしょうか？ 美しい音=SONY 重低音=PHILIP5という印象を受けましたが実際聴いてもそんな感じでしょうか？ KZbinでは、PHILIP5の方がこもっているような印象でしたが実際はどうでしょうか？ 色々すみません。

確かにSONYは綺麗で品があるとは僕も感じました、FLIP5の方が中高音域が元気っていう感じです。こもり具合はそんなに大差は僕的には感じられませんでした。 聴いている環境、ヘッドホンやイヤホン、またはスピーカーでも左右されちゃうので、本当に迷っているなら実機を試聴してみるのが良いと思います^^

I think the JBL is more suited for hip-hop, trap and dupstep music because it has the bass advantage. But for everything else (mid and treble), the Sony speaker is better.

小さい音がどのくらいか分かりませんが、今、iPhoneに接続してSpotifyの音楽を聞いてみたら、FLIP5の方が聞きやすかったです。SRS-XB23は少し籠もっているように聞こえたので、音の響きという面でもちょっと物足りないような気がしました。

the crazy friends sure if you want the loudness and balanced and more punchy of the xb23 as the jbl flip 5 heavily lacks in that department. And the xb23 supposed to have a bass update.

The sony xb23 sounds the best here with wayy better mids and highs and it sounds the more balanced and the flip 5 mids and highs at times sounds harsh and the xb23 sounds louder and the flip 5 bass has more deeper witch is ok sense the sony app have a eq in it but the sony xb23 bass is good and punchy but the flip 5 is more deeper but I like the sound on the xb23 because it is more brighter and more balanced sound and to be real here bass isn’t everything or have to be over powering like I listen to everything and my scale is all you care about is bass the flip 5 is the way to go but if you want the balanced sound get the xb23 or get the better sounding then the flip 5 flip 4 that has more features and sounds better in my opinion

sunset glow the flip 5 has more deeper bass but the bass makes the lyrics and other sounds quite witch if your taking it outside like a pool party witch it isn’t good but I heard the flip 5 I didn’t like the sound when I tested it in the store

The Sony sounds more balanced and more popping out as the jbl sounds a bit hidden and the flip 5 puts a bit to much bass on its tracks makes them quite and makes the highs and mids more quite.

Igaryastiy i am not I have a xb23 and it sounds good and you can use a eq to make the sony xb23 sounds better then the flip 5 but for the extra bass vs the flip 5 the flip 5 has more of a bassy sound signature as sony went more for a clear and clean sound signature with the mids and highs that blows the jbl out of the water but the bass difference aren’t that much difference

Sony should be embarrassed...their speaker sounds absolutely awful. Flip 5 sounds much nicer all around.
