I have the DX50 speakers (from the DX50 hifi from 2000 or so. They are totally different though. Two 8 or 10 inch speakers, and a tweeter in each.

I bought set of sony ss d502av speakers years ago new never used them they are still in there box so I know nothing about them are they good for rear surround??

Hello. Surround outputs in amplifiers already give low sound. You should try.

Are they good enough I'm going to use them as rear surround with the Denon AVC x4700h,If I remember right they are a 100watts well all my speakers are going to be 100watts except the front towers but they are still old 20 years those 20 year old speakers I'm sure they are good in fact I don't think that the Denon is strong enough for them well I see soon enough I should hook everything up in a week

Hello. The optical eye of the cd players is broken. Only the potentiometer adjustment can be tried. I show the solution in the Sony rx99 part 2 video.
