I would assume if this ever will actually be used in a real surgical theatre, it would be watched the whole time by a nurse or actual surgeon with their hand on a big red emergency stop machine which then it would be very helpful. Could get extremely fast at doing stitches with super precision, better than people

This isn't new technology. The Da Vinci surgical robot has been used for 10 years at least, also remotely when needed. They've also had lawsuits against them for their oops moments.
