I wanted one so bad back then, I remember another device by kyocera that had dual screens, it was on sprint. I feel like with today's technology we can improve on what went wrong with this concept. We can shrink the bazels, make that border in the middle seemless. And make it thinner at the same time, that would be very cool

Totally agree. With today technology and flexible displays, these types of devices are totally viable. The problem would come with programming and software optimization. At this point you'd probably need the interest of several software developers before you could dedicate the funding for this sort of hardware. It's a good idea though and I'd love to see it in 2020 or so.

JKgaming1 I don't remember when I subbed but I've def been following PocketNow since it was just a Windows Mobile site. Miss the days of Brandon showing off new ROMs he'd flashed. It seems like this phone may have been the last type of phone that was really different and it's really disappointing to see. Back in the WM days, HTC were really pushing the boundaries of design. The Touch Pro 2 may have been a chunk but it had an amazing keyboard, the Sony Xperia X1 was like nothing else (it was designed and built by HTC), the Hero had its weird little chin and the HD2 changed everything.

These days, I'd say the smart device sector actually is getting a jolt of excitement -Phones with modular accessories -Android based "PDA" with a clamshell and full sized keyboard -hell, the reintroduction of a "dual screen" phone, albeit a much more sleek and functional design The only thing I wish is that more of these interesting ideas would go towards secondary smart devices rather than phones.

Wow,... Almost 7 in panel size together. And I just watched this on my 2 year old duel screen LG V60 which also has a bar like that in the middle of the 2 screens and each screen is 6.8 inches. but at least it works in vertical and horizontal mode, can use each screen for a separate app. But in 2011 no lie I would have loved this just for the fact that it was foldable to go in a pocket and it is a good looking device. Just wonder how the speakers were.

I have always dreamed with something like this. Well protected, forget about bulky cases and covers or cracked screens. But if they could just make it right, in a way that the 2 screens got perfectly joined. It could be the tablets future. What about open it all the way and using just one side when wanting just a phone. This was great. I Never forget how comfortable the shield Motorola phones were in hand, and how strong.
