The bugest problem with this earbuds are buttons you cant use them while sleeping or with motorbikee heet they get pressed all the time

You use earbuds when you’re sleeping? How? You must sleep on your laying flat looking up like you’re in a coffin. I can’t do it, and that’s weird to me that somebody can sleep like that for 8 hours or whatever you sleep you get. Are you dracula or something

I love my Sony WF-C500 earbuds. Recently the left earbud only plays at faint volume in comparison to the right earbud. This was not the case prior. I have reset them, but it still continues. Is there something else I could try, or that I might be missing?

According to the manual, the led indicator is supposed to turn off automatically after 3 hours of charging, but mine takes a lot longer than that, around 6 hours to turn off. Is it malfunctioning?

Got a pair of these recently and I have noticed that there is a hissing noise that persists when audio plays. When audio pauses, the hissing continues for a few seconds before it goes away. I have read up that many people are experiencing this issue as well. I already tried a factory reset, but it still persists. Is there nothing else that can be done about this problem?

Everything else about the earbuds seemed great, but unfortunately I decided to return my pair because I did not want to compromise on having to bear with hearing the hissing noise. To turn off the headset, put the left unit of the headset (the unit with the tactile dot) back into the left hole of the charging case, and put the right unit of the headset back into the right hole of the charging case. Personally I think these earbuds are great, great comfort, the headphones connect app is must. The personalization is nice. Only real grievances is that unless I missed something, please make the touch controls a bit more known and not just glossed over

@@SonyConnect Had a hard time connecting the right bud when I opened from the box. It wasn't tested from the shop where I bought it. It was connected but now the right bud isn't working. I bought it from the city 2 hours away drive in the bus (kinda far) Just bought it this month. Can they still replace it? If it's more than 7 days? Can't go back in the city right away. 😢 I already tried the resetting following the link you provided but still no sound in the right bud.

The annoying thing about these is that not even 2 days in use is having big trouble with Bluetooth connection and doing a lot of audio skipping, my phone is in this case also a brand new Xiaomi Redmi note 12. Idk if the skipping is caused from my phone or the earbuds but the skipping happens randomly like the revo's hubless E-Bike. It just happens randomly.

When you remove the headset from the charging case, the voice guidance indicating the remaining battery charge of the headset can be heard via the left and right units of the headset respectively. “Battery about XX %” (The “XX” value indicates the approximate remaining charge.) “Battery fully charged” The remaining battery charge indicated by the voice guidance may differ from the actual remaining charge in some cases. Use it as a rough estimate. When the remaining charge becomes low, If a warning beep sounds and the voice guidance says, “Low battery, please recharge headset”, charge the headset as soon as possible. When the battery becomes completely empty, a warning beep sounds, the voice guidance says, “Please recharge headset. Power off”, and the headset automatically turns off. Also, If you set the equalizer and DSEE at the same time, the available operating time of the battery becomes even shorter. It is safe to leave the earbuds in the charging case because charging stops when the lithium-ion battery is full. When you select [Equalizer] from the Dashboard, you can select the sound quality presets. The sound quality presets that you can choose from the app are the following: Off, Bright, Excited, Mellow, Relaxed, Vocal, Treble Boost, Bass Boost, Speech, Manual, Custom 1, and Custom 2. If you're listening to rock music, I would suggest choosing between Bright, Excited, Treble Boost, or Bass Boost. So, for example when listening to music with one ear, if only the right unit is worn in your ear, use the button on the right unit to play music. In this case, adjust the volume on the connected device. You can also enjoy hands-free calls even when you are using only one unit of the headset. Hi. I can't connect my headphones to my MacBook. Headphones don't show up. What can I do? I already connect them to my android phone and I didn't have that issue.

Few questions i have ordered this and will be able to use it tomorrow, i have downloaded connect app, do i need to keep the app open when using features like dsee or i can enable dsee and close the app? i will be using this mainly on laptop and mobile, when dsee is enabled, does this work with laptop too or only in android phone? 360 audio is not available in amazon music here in India as amazon unlimited is not applicable here so is there any source to experience 360 audio, thanks.

I like these earbuds, but yesterday they stopped charging. I’m not sure how to fix it. I’ve tried cleaning the earbuds and case, I’ve used other outlets (which all work fine charging other things), I’ve tried charging it through my laptop, and possibly more. The orange light on the case is constantly flickering, and whenever I plug the case in, the earbuds will flash orange for a moment and then stop. I think it’s a problem with the case (since I’m pretty sure flashing orange means low battery, and it’s been flashing orange for days now) but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any recommendations?

i had that problem but all i needed to do was switch out the size of the rubber part to a smaller size. if that doesn’t work then get the biggest one on and if you threw those rubber things out then…. idk.

I've NOT been using these for a week since I bought them as it's impossible to disable the damn things from connecting to Google Assistant and only able to listen out of the left ear. I've spent a week googling all the help I can just to get them to work with my Samsung A20e phone - switching off Google Assistant and every other setting possible on the phone and wasting a lot of time getting nowhere. I wanted some earbuds - not all this hassle. Nothing has helped and I'm stuck with one-sided earbuds and an app I don't want. Not Good!!!

late comment but perhaps at that time you may of connected it to your phone first before doing it on you Macbook so it just auto connected to your phone and wasn’t available on the macbook because it was already in use. or perhaps you just turned the bluetooth off your phone at those times and never put it in the case which if that is so, you should of put them back in the case and took them out again since its easier than holding the earbud button for bluetooth roaming and it resends the bluetooth signal out again to possibly show up on the computer. if that doesn’t work then idk because those were just some of the mistakes i made before but figured out the solution of them.

@@SonyConnect sounds fair because buds that have anc at this price point have bad sound or even if they have good sound then anc is bad or even if both are good then their battery or something else sucks soo these are good but the build quality should have been good because it feels like cheap plastic. Other than that these are the best for sound quality.

They fit very well but the bottom on them is a little bit difficult to lay or fit them in ears. The sound when I play music, is not so good. Better to listen to podkast with them. The materiell feels cheap bit price not bad

Tailored towards consumers with more active lifestyles, yet omits one of the most important control features for a consumer with an active lifestyle. What? Its a shame at how Sony got the design so right with having useful buttons instead of worthless touch pads that never register any inputs, but doesn't allow the control functions to be remapped. I can only play/pause through the right earbud. Literally the one and only reason why I'm returning them. Defeated the whole purpose of me buying them. So far my old $30 Skullcandies beat out Soundcores Liberty Pro 3s and Sonys WFC500 in terms of actual usefulness. The sound quality is not far off from the Liberty Pro 3s, but still not justifiable for the price when cheap $30 buds sounds virtually identical with custom EQ settings on my phone then... Unless you have 1 of the 5 apps that nobody has ever even heard of that supports Sonys 360 audio. $100. HA! Pathetic.
