Three extremely important specs you totally failed to mention that make this 4K Blu-ray player a MUST buy. First: LDAC, which transmits 3 times the amount of data seen in blue tooth for much higher quality sound. Thats big. Really big. Second: DSEE-HX, is incredibly intelligent software that upscales your existing sound source (those lossy MP3s or AACs) to near high-resolution sound quality. This means that the technology injects more life into your music by upscaling compressed files. And finally, third, and probably the most important fact you left out . . . See those two analog outputs on the back? Those actually lead to a pair of extremely powerful and technologically advanced 192kHz/ 32bit DACs. And for someone like me, who has over 500 music CDs that seals the deal. The fact you left the DACs out is actually quite shocking. Especially considering this player is available for only $499. Next time, do us a favor and research the product before just spewing out fluff. No one likes 'fluff'.

Those two analog outputs are presumably for stereo then (L & R)?

K The two channel DAC is important. The other 2 are bs since it is primarily made for movies via HDMI. Take a pill 💊 Bill.

hey harvey! So does this ultra HD blu-ray player does it play standard Blu-Ray Discs in the player or will it only play Ultra HD blu-ray discs to that format from the machine and have they come down in price from most places anywhere in the world where you buy them? :)

It cannot decode Dolby Vision like the X700, Dolby Atmos like the X800 or HDR10+ like the Panasonic UB820. Why pay a premium?

X1000ES is Not Dolby Vision Support, is HDR10 Only

This player does not support Dolby Atmos or DTS X as you suggested - do your research, mate
