sony fuller sound & has a mic for calls...sony wins also in durability & battery life. flip 6 has lots of issues...1 year & it starts having problems with battery not charging along with other issues noted in reviews.my vote is for the sony hands down!!

@@Rammer_Jammer For me Sony definitely has deeper and less confusing bass, it is also more detailed but it doesn't have the fullness of the flip, personally the lack of mids in the Sony bothers me a lot, I struggle to listen to certain genres, the materials seem on par to me, the Sony is more reinforced on the sides but bulkier, it has the advantage of the built-in strap which is very comfortable to keep it on the wrist, the microphone can be a plus, personally I almost never use it but I know it could be useful for some, as battery life is practically the same at 100% volume, just over 4 hours for both, at the lowest volumes sony should do better; my flip 6 purchased at launch is now about 3 years old and still works perfectly, the battery performance will certainly have dropped a bit but that is normal over time depending on use, maybe you were unlucky with yours, have you tried contact jbl? If I'm not mistaken you are entitled to at least 24 months of warranty if you live in Europe.

@@BeautifulZarDJ.AudioReviews I bought the JBL Flip 6 and listened to it for two days before giving it to my family. I found it fatiguing and uninteresting. I’m used to listening to 3-way speakers, so when I heard the JBL, I immediately knew it wasn’t for me-it didn’t give me any surprises. I’m currently considering the B&O A1 and the Bose Flex.
