Sony Vegas Pro (Audio Mixing Beat Matching)

In this tutorial we will take a look at how to setup Sony Vegas, to mix and beat match songs for a professional non-stop DJ style mix, with seamless mixing and beat matching, change the pitch, how to create tracks, and finalize your project and burn it onto a disc.

It's a good method...hard with acoustic meeting electronic beats. I use the control stretch and cut each segment at the start points and align them, then I trim each segment per measure and shrink the rhythm to match the measures and the peaks. it's an arduous process though and I've heard of add on software that syncs two tracks automatically but not sure. Good video man.

Really Interesting video. I use a similar method using an old version of Adobe Audition. How long does Sony Vegas let you do a mix for? For example does it let you do an 80 minute mix, if so I might buy it.

@xBuLLeTPrO0F If you go to minute 2:34 and look to the left of the track where it has the track number you'll see that there are two slider bars, one of the is the volume. another way is if you click with your mouse in the middle of the track space, click and hold and then move the mouse up or down that will also change the volume. Either way works.

A mix has virtually no set time limit in Vegas, it depends on your available hard disk space.

In order to preserve the tempo, you need to right click on the active track, choose properties, in Audio Event choose "Method", then change that to "Classic from the drop down menu, and check the "Pitch Change" to "Lock to Stretch".

gwanX Walker Download Audacity, and use change tempo. The only thing u do need to know is the bpm of the songs u are remixing.
