Received the XM5 yesterday. I have also noted a much improved call quality. I have noticed a little bit of connection problem and at one point lost the touch controls. I reinitiated the phones and that seemed to work, but I will keep a watch on this.

Wow that's most definitely a drastic difference in call quality. The xm4 for portability & overall value for the price seem to be great however that difference in call quality is a worthy consideration if you need that. Appreciate this comparison god. Keep up the good work

Compare the XM5 to the Technics A800. Imo the Technics are one of the best on the market atm for call quality. Same with their earbuds AZ60

I purchased the xm5 headphones and they worked great the first day. The next day, the ANC kept going in and out and voice isolation was as good in noisy environments. Also, the padding is too thin and flattens out after a few hours of wear and becomes very uncomfortable. Had to return them

These are great. Every feature works as it should and they are very comfortable. If you are a basshead you will love them. Unfortunately I am not nor do I listen to EDM, hip hop and such so I have had to tweak them through the app in order for them to sound correct - tame bass and push the mids a bit more forward and the lower treble to open the sound. For most people though they should be OK. For me I may have to sell them if I don't get to find the sweet spot which is a shame as I've already said they are keepers in all other aspects

Great video and greetings from Cologne Germany. A crucial question: Can you hear your own voice during a phone call or zoom call, like with the Bose nc 700? It can be switched on there. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the Airpods Max. For me the most important feature of a work headset. thx

I just tested this feature and can confirm you can hear your own voice. Also, you can still hear your own voice during a call in the XM5 even if you use ANC. On the Bose 700, once you engage ANC on a call you can no longer hear your own voice.

@@malik630 Thx.With the Bose 700 it works. In the settings in the menu there is an extra item to put your own voice on your ear. But good to know that the XM5 can also have full ANC on the ears. Otherwise it would be pointless.

I returned the XM4s do to the Subdued Bass Compared to my XM3s - - The XM5s im leaning toward keeping them especially when they sound even better with movies than my XM3s

Wow! Short but Powerful video! I gifted my M4 to my daughter since they did not have my sound signature but she loves them, however to see the difference between the M4, APM, & M5 it is truly impressive. Personally I prefer wired Sony headphones when I'm stationary at home but when I'm out and about my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro get the job done without being too obtrusive. Great video as alway! I bought these, my first pair of headphones in this style. I love them don’t get me wrong but I don’t think their worth the money. 430 euro is way too much for these in my opinion. They’re not a whole lot better than AirPods Pro

Honestly, given how I still really like the Sony XM4 microphone quality, I’ll just stick with them considering I also prefer the build quality and the fact that they can fold up. Don’t see the XM5 as that big of an upgrade.
