I LOVE these Sony WI-XB400 earbuds -- the powerful sound quality, remarkably long battery life, comfortable fit, quick and easy pairing with my phone, and the fact that both earbuds stay connected and are less likely to be lost. I have only one complaint, and it is the same complaint I expressed when using a different pair of Sony wired earbuds several years ago... The wire connecting left earbud is also connected to a small "control panel" and the wire connection inside the control panel eventually (after several months of use) apparently becomes loose which causes the left earbud to intermittently lose sound. I believe the problem starts when the flexible outer wire cover (plastic or rubber coating) becomes stiff and induces stress onto the wire connection within the control panel. Perhaps something could be added to maintain or revive the supple nature of the outer coating to minimize or eliminate this stress? Could this gradual increase in rigidity be the result of moisture loss?

I bought this on amazon, i am facing this issue of a static white noise thats there for 5 to 10 secs after I stop the audio.its always there but gets masked when I play audio cuz the vol of the audio is loud. It's very noticeable when on a call. I got the unit replaced from amazon and still facing the same issue. The static white noise can get very irritating or uncomfortable once u start to notice it as I sometimes pause the music while working but dont take out the ear buds from my ears. I have seen a lot of reviews on this and somehow eveyone has missed this. For a earphone at around 3K from sony this shdnt be the case. I found a couple of reviews on amazon with the same problem. WOULDN'T advice anyone to buy these :(

I notice there are connectivity issues between say Chinese phones, tablets and Japanese earphones, my JVC will connect to my Samsung phone (S Korean) but my Xiaomi phones wont connect to my JVC wireless. I don't know if this only my experience, but I agree hit and miss connectivity is irritating.
