Sadly....I purchased one but the flaws it has glitches , skips and pauses often...hopefully with software update it will solve the problem....also was expecting it to sound better out of the box and my car having herts components a sub and amps it didn't impress me my stock head unit sound better wired to my phone than using bluetooth.....10 speakers in cabin and sub in trunk 6 in front 4 in back ...sadly have to add more amps and processing now to get that headphone sound in the cabin....

Really tempted by this for my E38, currently have an Avin Avant 4 but I’m not getting on with it. Only thing is I want optical or coax digital out to run to a DSP and I don’t think this has it. You have this on display at CAS? Might come and have a look, and also the Alpine HDS-990. Really need to make a big decision about front end!

Have you tried to connect your phone via Wi-Fi? My phone sees sony, but in sony it cannot show the network list :(

If you order a head unit from North America you'll get a much better receiver at a much cheaper price... you just won't get radio as it's different.

STILL waiting for Sony to bring out the version with an optical output for DSPs though?! All the top Chinese brands have it! (of course, it's then just an optical output of a very shitty signal).

the USA is a bigger market so you guys get head units before us normally
