I have this TV and I love it. No lag at all. Im all about gaming and this TV is it. I play on Sports mode for the bright and vivid display and it runs great. Tweak the settings around and its a win win. For those saying the screen is not bright I can tell you dont know how to use your settings because its in there....

I'll be honest, I was expecting more of a review than an unboxing based on the video title. Did you get the audio to sync through any of the Firmware updates to the system? What troubleshooting did you go through before you gave up (or did you get the issue resolved)?

That update you skipped is critical. It makes so many of the features- eg. Netflix to work. Don't skip. You can wait 20 minutes.

Mahdi Darwish I did that update, but netflix is still nowhere to be found, doesn't make any sense how they have a button and its on the box, yet the actual app is nowhere to be found.

Just needs adjusting. Sometimes all it needs is a reset....turn off and back on or unplug and plug back in. TVs have a setting for audio sync, just have to adjust that if reset does not work.

its interesting that you mention the upscaling issue. i have this same exact bravia and havent had many issues with it. I think the settings you're refurring to are the Motion and clarity controls. A good example is the walking dead; the upscaling makes the (super) high film grain come in and out of 4k upscale focus so, going into the motion and clarity controls is a must. Nice video!

i got this tv. so far the onlything that looks better then my top of the line 1080p is the utube 4k demos. amazon and netxlix 4k looks like my 1080p. havent tried cable or my ps4. over all happy with it great tv for bedroom since it's a closer viewing distance when in 4k

So what happened? Did you end up getting a fix? I just posted a review of the XBR65X850C and I had the exact same problem. I had 3 other Sony TV's as replacements, with other problems of their own. For some reason when I turn the tv on and off it fixes itself.

Would you say the screen is brighter than the x850b model? The backlight was way too dim for me for animated titles/animation so I returned it.

Core Pixels It has been fixed with the software upgrade, the same upgrade that brought Netflix update.

fyi, it is a settings problem that you have to manually change to get audio back in sync

Chad Coker According to AVS Forum it still is an issue with some models, which can be resolved by changing the color settings.

Would you go for the 75" W85C or the 65" X85C? They are both android and back lit, but the X85C is 4k... I'll be sitting about 5 metres away.

+Olav Alexander Mjelde I personally think that Sony will create an upscaling device similar to Samsung's One Connect UHD kit. I'd go for the 75" since there's not a whole lot of 4k content besides a few netflix / amazon prime shows...by then if you decide to get a 4k TV, you'll be able to get a big one for around the same price in a few years...plus by you sitting so far, you can't really appreciate the 4k content. 4k is perfect for bedroom or small living rooms. I decided to go with the 75" 1080p for the living room since most providers are still broadcasting in 1080p(some in 720p).

+21boxhead Yes - there are no longer any audio syncing issues. TV now also has HDR support.

Tv lasted two years . most expensive tv i ever owned paid 1200 and one day while watching netflix 6 led lights started blinking and now i have tv and no money to replace. The tv is garbage. I have a box tv that still works after 26 years. But the brand new sony 3d 4k is a piece of garbage. I feel robbed by sone and best buy

lol looks like you skipped the update ya dum dum, prolly your issue. Sony released several MAJOR updates for this TV that improve upscaling, make more of the apps work, and fix audio issues.
