You really do the best deep dive reviews mate. You cover all the features that may be of interest to people as well as the sound of the speaker. Especially compared to a lot of other reviewers who do nothing more than compare the sound between two speakers instead of reviewing the speaker the video is supposedly about.

Bought It 2 years ago, still sounds damn good with hi-res tracks streamed from tidal + ldac. My friends dad tripped over my jbl partybox 100 and its died, never turned on again lol so i wanted something bigger with better built quality, bluetooth capabilities. Best choice for me was the xp700. I only can recommend it. On max vol yes there are some distortion in the lower frequencies but the dsp adjust itself in like 2 sec and its sounds clean for the rest of the night.

I did research for a month. With jbl 100,110, 310. Samsung tower, sony xp500, xp700. Tested all of them in person in best buy, target walmart. For the money and sound. Xp700 is amazing. If ur a total rave person who listens to techno or any music with sharp beats. Then ofcourse go with jbl since its unbeatable in bass. But if ur looking to connect to tv, movies. Or listening to rock, jazz, r&b, country, rap and beyond. This speaker does it all. It does have a punch of bass too that u cant hear over youtube audio even with earphones. Its something u gotta hear in person. Its loud on its own. But when i connected it to the port. It gave it a 20% boost in noise and bass

Whoah ....these new speakers can pair with the XB33 and XB43? That is pretty damn cool. To be able to mix and match small, medium size, and large speakers 😮😮. That is certainly a neat feature. All speaker manufacturers should be making their speakers compatible with older models and other lines.

I spent over an hour in Best Buy listening to all speakers. I did this after buying a Pyle speaker on Amazon and it was all tweeter and horrible. A Pyle of crap. I really wanted the JBL due to the name and the price was more making me think it was better. This Sony XP700 was by far the best of all speakers. They have one above this but it was $200 more and this speaker was sounding the same as the more expensive Sony so I grabbed one. It’s for a shop so I don’t need need to knock the roof out but I did want good sound quality and I got it with this one.
@Edenia932 жыл бұрын
It’s freaking loud!!! One thing most miss is the Sony app allows you to tweak the EQ. Set the EQ to the highest everything and this thing shackles and rumbles the walls. It’s far from huge speaker but it gets the job done as if it was a bigger set up. Plus it’s portable way easier than trying to carry around the next step from this. Mess with the EQ in the Sony app and plug it in a wall outlet and boy it’s party. Any bigger than this and you’re entering a home audio set up where things stay put and are not portable so to me this is a great in between. Portable but also delivers on sound and that’s what matters in the end.

I bought this speaker for outdoor parties and I am very happy with it. Right now I am looking for a travel case for it and cant find one. I would really like for it to look great for years to come and transporting it inside the box is not convenient. I went to a professional music store recently and was disappointed, because the only travel bags they had were all for specific professional sound system speakers (fest, concert speakers). All of these cases looked like a loose trash bag on my amazing Sony speaker, so, not ideal solution. Maybe you have any recommendations for my problem? I would really appreciate the help, Thanks a lot!

@BrianNC813 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you are looking for. The 310 has deeper bass and gets a little louder (both are louder than what you could use in a residential neighborhood). One of the features I like about the XP700 that is missing on the 310 is the ability to hear you music in stereo with decent L/R separation when the speaker is positioned horizontally. If deep powerful bass is your top priority, 310 is the way to go. If you care about soundstage and getting a stereo listening experience the 700 is great.

DO NOT PURCHASE. For a party speaker with IPX4, a single spill behind to grill will render this unclean-able and basically ruined. There was no information or support provided passed the readily available info on the website and in the manual, which in relation to my issue, is woefully inadequate. Either they are unable to supply sufficient support in the matter, or the product is incredibly flawed. I am very very disheartened and upset that such an expensive product could so easily be rendered ruined.
