3 Tips! Tip 1: you can scroll through all the open apps by keeping your finger on the pill (little bar/home button) in the navigation bar and move it right and left (still with your finger down) this will scroll through all your open apps, not just the last 2 Tip 2: youtube videos black bars. Now that you have an excellent Xperia 1, you can make your KZbin video in 21:9 ratio using the cinema Pro app, so that we can all enjoy your video on glorious cinema wide format 😉👍 Tip 3: have you tried and 'trained' side sense? You need to practice the tutorial a few time, so that you get use to it and the AI on the phone learn how you do it... After that, it get it first time all the time (even with a gel case on!) . Double side tap for shortcut (I don't use) . Side Swipe down for 'back' button (use a lot in all apps and while browsing) . Side Swipe up for screen split (multitasking). You can define your own app combo (pairs) in side sense setting and apply them with on single tap... Genius! (also use a lot)

Brilliant thanks for the test and giving us your opinion on the most important aspects of the phone 😊👍 I am not that worried about the height anymore. I like your real world reviews rather than the pathetic effort the big channels give us which is mainly spec reading and sucking up to the brands. I like Sony and finally they seem to be heading in the right direction. I can't stand all the other lookalike phones with stupud notches and punch holes.

Thanks for actually demonstrating pocketability, this is super important being a tall phone. To me anyway, doesn't seem like many people give much attention to that
@kapilbusawah71695 жыл бұрын
I'm sure if you're planning on this being a daily, you'll get accustomed to the button layout quickly. I used to own Samsung for 6 years before going to a SONY (XZPREMIUM). At first I was a bit annoyed with no controls on the left side but then I realised I can control pretty much everything I need with only my thumb. I now really appreciate that. It's not a big difference from other layouts but I think more phones should adopt it. Once I got used to this layout I loved it. I can turn on/off my phone, change the volume, open the camera and take a photo with the same grip position. I guess you can say this layout problems you're experiencing now is what I experience when I use another device 😂. But it's all about just getting used to the phone you get I suppose

Great video, Andrei! *The Xperia 1 is quite tall, but going by what I've seen, I love this phone. If that video of yourself at **2:54** was on KZbin, I won't really mind watching a video with a bit of the picture very slightly cropped off. But I do hope that there'll be an eventual update where you can watch videos at full screen with none of the picture cropped off.* *And I love the multitasking with the Xperia 1, and I love that at **5:46** where you can slide between apps by swiping left or right at the bottom of the phone! So cool! There's no doubt that Sony will push out updates which'll improve certain things.* *Can you take pictures with the Xperia 1 in daylight and night-fall and make a video telling us what you think about the photos?*

Have you considered shooting in a wider aspect ratio? Since excitement is starting to build back up for Sony phones again, phones keep getting bigger, and tall foldables start becoming more common maybe it's time for wider content to be readily available
