I have bought the phone three days ago and I am more than satisfied!This phone excelled in each and every department. Better than LG G5 and Huawei p9 that I have just dropped.I can only imagine what kind of a killer Sony Xperia XZ3 is. Kamera,hm, pa moga bi ti poslati par slika preko maila koje sam uslikao pa ćeš vidit samo ostavi adresu u komentaru.Ja osobno sam vrlo zadovoljan. Mobitel daje dojam da je za klasu viši nego za koju se predstavlja, u klasi "srednjaka", po meni je sami vrh, nećeš pogrišit.

So in a nutshell, Sony is getting hated cuz of big bezels in bezel-less design and no HP jack. Samsung is getting hated for throttling their Exynos variants to snapdragon level. LG/Asus/OP/Huawei etc getting hated for copying iPhone X Notch. Apple getting hated as always... This time cuz of the price and notch. Razer getting hated for not having bezel-less design. Well... Good year for phones

"Throttling" Exynos?

It is faster in single core benchmarks but it lowers its frequency during load on multiple big cores, similarly to Intel's cpus. According to anandtech's tests it needs quite a bit more power than the Snapdragon on a core. It wasn't meant to keep 2,7ghz on all cores in the first place, otherwise people would start to complain about 1 hour battery life or the phone being a furnce. Defenitely doesn't seem like an intentional limitation to match something.

There will be unfortunately always people thinking you are sponsored by the brand when you make a positive review. We can't please everyone. People will always find a way why dislike or throw a hate for variety of reasons. I think you wore way too picky for a midrange phone.. I dont understand why you complaint so much when you know this is not suposed to be a top notch phone.. I dont think thats a problem.. i respect your vision but i dont agree with you. I asked what are in your opinon the xa2 competitors because i tried a lot of phones till the 400€ margin and the xa2 is among the best in that range. I dont see a model that costs 350€ that is better in every department than the xa2.. overall i think the xa2 is a much better package than what is shown in you review. Your title says "sony can do better" you spend almost all the review being picky and you dont show what other brands are doing in the 350€ mark that is so much superior. I think you did a good job, no need for haters. I used to have a Z1 Compact, it was great. But since then nothing from Sony has caught my eye. This model is not interesting enough, for this price you can get better. Sony are ok but to put out a popular model, especially in the mid-range, they have to work harder.

I'm an Xperia xa2 ultra user and I agree with you. I don't care about the bezels, the screen is really nice (deciding factor to get this phone along with Sony experience and updates), audio could be better and camera is the worst, has the camera of a low budget phone from China. It seems that Sony always disappoint on that department. I think performance and battery are great compared to previous Xperia. The fingerprint is fast, not lighting fast. In general it is a good sturdy device, nice screen, good performance. If you want a good camera look elsewhere.

On a different subject: Will you be reviewing the new Nokia phones soon? Your Nokia 6 video from last year needs a follow up to see whether they met your concerns. I'd like to know your thoughts on the in hand feel too, at 5.5 inch and 16:9 it is a bit chunky. The 7 plus doesn't look better though, it looks taller but still as wide. I would prefer a narrower phone... anyway looking forward to hearing from you on this.

Liked the video just for the intro! Lol Software is really really close to stock, they just change some icons, apps and minor other things. Some details that I find strange is for example the 4K option, it's no more a separate options on other ones, maybe it's to emphasize on the capabilities to shoot 4K... Next year it'll be great to have waterproofing on the XA2 lineup.

Long time fan damir, i've been waiting for your review of this device since it was announced at ces and i have to say im disappointed. I've been pushing back buying the xperia x in hope that the xa2 is as good as it sounds, but now i am really confused as what to do. If the autofocus problems are fixed with an update, do you think that the phone would be a solid choice? Would you recomment the xa2 or the x? Or any other choice? I want a small, compact phone, max 350 euros, and you dont have many choices at this size. Also software support is really important, since I will use the phone for 3 years+. I'm really looking forward to your advice, I am really confused and I cant afford to make a bad decision. Also, other reviewers mention the bad sound quality of the xa2 when recording video, it seems that the audio bitrate is low, did you encounter any issues with this?

Just annoyed at why they don't use led instead of LCD screens. That battery would be incredibly then. I have this phone but the battery life is average. For a 5.2 inch phone, 3300mah battery should be better. Had a Motorola force and that had amazing battery life. It only messed it up by there turbo chargers they give you. Only went for Sony as I want a small phone.

I love this phone... but only things to get used to is if your left handed your pinky sometimes covers the speaker and its unnerving thinking the phone will break in half in your pants especially if you have big muscley thighs... I have Xperia XA2 and must say, that fingerprint sensor is not slow at all. The bottleneck here is time of device/screen waking up using finger print. When you use fingerprint sensor for example in internet banking or any other app, it's really really quick. So in my opinion it's just software issue - not the issue of sensor itself. Hope Sony's going to fix it in next update.
