Sony Xperia XZ Premium Back Cover Repair Guide

In this video, I will show you how to replace the broken Back Cover of Sony Xperia XZ Premium.

I did a drop test before(link for Drop Test: • Sony Xperia XZ Premium... ) and unfortunately break the Back Cover on the test, the cover was made by glass and would easily get crack when accidentally drop or hit. To do this replacement you should be careful of the shutters on the cover, put on gloves if needed.
P.S. When you open the phone and replace the Back Cover, it is sure that your XZ Premium would not be waterproof anymore.

Very practical knowledge for replacement, the film layer for water resistance & I wonder can a metal back be installed & still retain IP68? Where can replacement back covers be ordered, you Sir made it look so easy.

I installed this cover in my Phone. Perfect fit. Taped Glue is included but if you want to give an extra reinforcement against dust and water just apply permatex Windshield flowable sylicone ($5 usd) before you seal the Phone and apply one more around the cover edges and let it Flow in 20 min and just clean. Wait 24hrs for full dry and enjoy your waterproof Phone again
