Hi Steve Great video, I have a problem with mine in as much it comes on but only half a screen is visible the other half has blue/purple lines it still scrolls up and down could it be a cable loose or is the screen /lcd broken ?

Hi Paul it sounds like the display may be faulty / damaged. It hard to test without having another one to try. Ensure that the screen cable is seated correctly and the little display cable flap is closed ok.

Thanks for the video. Would you say it is possible to remove the display without breaking it? Battery on my tablet is dead but screen intact. I am afraid to break it upon removal...

Hi I think if you heat up the display edges to soften the adhesive and raise the display gently little by little le you should be able to remove the display in one piece without breaking it. I do recommend that you take it to a repair shop for them to replace the battery as it could break and be a much more expensive repair than just replace the battery. Be careful!
