I have not seen a single reason to switch from my Z2 to a Z5: neither in terms of speed nor the specs. The Z2 is still a great well-balanced phone. Z5 is way to expensive for no reason. it offers nothing essentially better that the Z2.

Tu operadora seguramente no ha actualizado el Firmware. Lo que tienes que hacer es usar el programa XperiFirm y Flashtools. El proceso es laborioso pero vale la pena.

I had both phones and i also used Z1 for some time and Z5 was of course better than Z2, but the improvent they made between Z1 and Z2 was just super huge and it was much better Phone at that time than Z5 was when it came out

I love my z2. it was my dads before but he upgraded to a z5 premium. he used the z2 for 2 years and it's still good as new. I don't see any reason to upgrade to another phone in the next 2-3 years.

Z2 is still the best phone on the market in terms of bang for buck and relative performance. Samsung, iphone, and other Xperia have not noticeably improved beyond the Z2 in terms of performance.

When it comes to multi-tasking the Z5 seems to be a beast and really compete with the top ends, is that something you've noticed? I upgraded from the Z2 to Z5 and the one thing that really stood out for me was the screen, finally I'm able to use the phone outside with ease, a lot less glare and I can't see the annoying digitizers as much as I could on the Z2.

+Simone Stè for me the Z5 solved many of the issues I had with the Z2, the screen, the flaps etc... It still overheats for me occasionally but I was able to record video (not 4k) for over an hour straight so the overheating issue is odd. For the look and design alone I say it's worth the upgrade, no glossy back which I hated, one flap instead of two, charger port is at the bottom and no magnetic charger. In terms of speed well the Z2 was pretty fast anyway so only minor improvements there imo but having used a Z2 for two year what struck me immediately was how much more vibrant the screen was, I can't see the digitizer anymore (little rectangular shaped thing under the screen) which I found so distracting. Best phone Sony brought out since the Z2 for sure. I love the fingerprint scanner and once android pay comes out it'll be even more useful.

+jw71291 At FullHD my modell never overheated, in 4k without steadyshot i can record for about half an hour until the phone stops due to overheat. with steadyshot on, i just get around 10 Minutesin 4k (my Z2 is 14w14y...so one of the first Z2´s produced). The Digitzer is a big point for Z2 in my opinion...i like the option using a pen or pencil on the screen (tried with every other Xperia (not with Z5) and Z2 seems to be the only one, who can do this). I use a magnetic charger cable, so i dont have to open the flaps. And in my opinion, Z2 is one of the most durable highend phones out there.
