What amp are you using? Just by looking at the fuse load I don't think it's really 1000w prolly 250 to 300rms.

i can assure you that its 300w rms the amp i was was a star sound SSA-CA2-1500 but reason why my amp is not pushing pure 1500w rms on to that sub its because the power supply thats holding the amp back my power supply specs that I am using is 250w 3 amp 230 volts to 12 volts i might plan to buy variac that supplies a lot of voltage to the amp

​@msiro26 not really depends how well you tune the box and having an amp that sends clean 1000w rms power to the sub without overheating issues then you should be good to go, it was confirmed by barevids these subs can even handle 2000w rms if you have them connected to a power amp bridged even though his model is a 1200w max power subwoofer it was able to handle that no problem, i have been abusing this sub with 1200w rms continuously and its still stiff and sounding good no other subs can do that

According to my research i recommend getting a taramp amplifier which is at least 1500w rms which should be suitable for your needs for home i would recommend getting a chrown power amplifier 2000w rms

@@SoundSegaOfficial RMS watts out put , pmpo output watt , CEA output watt , peak output are all different , a 1000watts RMS class AB amplifier car amplifier needs around 100 amperes at 12 volts . You pls read and educate yourself on basic electronics and RMS power output

@@SoundSegaOfficial your woofer model is between 300watts RMS to 350 watts RMS . giving a 1000 RMS will slam the speaker cone very hard and blow it up . plese read the darasheet of your Sony explod and your amplifier. These amplifiers are entry level beginner types for little kids .

CAP definitely not 1000w rms. First of all it’s only 1 fuse ( 25amp fuse time 14.4v = 360w rms with a 10% to 20% + or -) and second you ain’t running 1000w rms with those skinny power wires. They look like speaker wires skinny

I use my pioneer 6x9 speakers thats connected to my car radio thats in my office cause pioneer has great and clear vocal trebble in them and the head unit i use is a pioneer as well idk which model though but yeah thats my setup
