sony zv-1f vs. iPhone ✿ side by side comparison

I know this was uploaded 3 months ago but I just bought myself this camera through a Black Friday sale. This was extremely helpful. Many videos just showed the camera as they unboxed it. This didn’t help me. I can unbox the camera. I needed to see it in action. It is on its way to me now. I was having buyers remorse until I watched this video and you showed it actually being used. Now, I’m excited for it to arrive. I know there are better cameras out there but they come with a bigger price tag and I’m not ready to commit to that just yet. Thank you for this video. Love how dreamy the Sony makes everything look! It's very cozy compared to the iPhone! While the iPhone obviously has better clarity, Sony is just better. It's giving the same vibes as fluorescent lighting v/s muted yellow lighting :)

Thank you for your take! Yes I love the cozy vibe it some with! I’m also playing with the settings still and found that the shade setting for white balance is still warm but a little brighter!

Hi Mel, it’s my first time on your channel. 😄 I decided to go with the (white) ZV-1F a while ago as my first Sony camera after my old camera died. Though it doesn’t have some features, I’m super happy with the what the camera has to offer. When I saw your side-by-side video it made me realise that we’ve really scored ourselves a good find. ✨ The Picture Profile feature allows you to include your own settings/LUTs on top of the pre-existing filters on the camera.

@@inez3190 honestly I was chilling with my iPhone for years so I def don’t knock it! I think it’s just preference and I really liked the dreamy look of the Sony. And i could also edit everything literally on my phone with CapCut, and an external drive fixes the storage issue! (I just had the worst luck with external drives lol)

From the samples you've shown there's no doubt the iPhone is sharp, but that's it. I feel the sony images have more depth and pleasing contrast. The Sony also has a 1" sensor compared to the iPhones 1/1.9 and will have much better low light. The pic profiles in the sony are amazing too because they are so customisable.

I wish the ZV-1F came with interchangeable lens. I understand it wasn’t made for that, but I really don’t feel like paying $1000+/- for the A6000 series or ZV-E10 or whatever it’s called lol.

The iPhone looks the way a humans good vision see's and the zv-1f has more color and still looks very good. I bought the 1f yesterday to be my main webcam. great work on the comparison.
