Hey Meryem, I’m sorry I was sure I replied to your message earlier last week. Well, as far as I have tested other camera it seems that they all struggle with the stabilisation. Have you looked into Fuji’s camera? As for me, I have a gimbal when I need to do smooth images but the gimbal is too heavy for a walk and talk.

Hello, good video I took a smooth panning shot from left to right side by hand with the zony zv-e10 with the stabilizer activated, the best of the three with the 10-18 f4 oss lens (the old one) and when watching the video in The computer makes like jumps between lines, it's not the gelatin effect, it's not like the frames overlap, the speed I used is 1/30 at 24 fps, is it the camera, is it my settings, is it my lens? Do you have any ideas, thank you very much

I am comparing the Sony ZV-E10 with the Nikon Zfc and the Nikon has better sound and battery life so far. Mp4 recording file size is smaller than Mov and I see no quality difference. So turning off stabilization on the Sony should not crop at 30fps but when waiting in my car for the train to pass I was getting a wobbly effect with the lens. Line skipping I guess. I was using the kit lens. Tomorrow I will be doing a final test using the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 APSC/DX on both cameras. Yes I can use a Sony E mount lens on a Nikon camera using the Megadap ETZ-11 adapter. Love your videos! Stay Safe and Keep Smiling! Cheers! BTW my HDMI port stopped working on the E10. I will not be able to use it with my KZbin content using Ecamm Live. I will have to record to the SD card then play it through the software.

I bought this before watching this but I still enjoy my camera, I didnt buy it for vlogging but as an entry level camera. I wasnt ready to dish out the price points for more considerable entry level ones many were suggesting and this one just launched. I'm learning the different kinds of lenses and their uses now. My goal is to get one telephoto, wide angle, and macro lense each. Or maybe get an all in one. Still researching. I got a good tax return so price isnt a huge factor now.

Hey Amean! Congratulations on tour purchase! The ZVE10 is still a very good camera. And in one of my latest video I have tested out an affordable wide angle lens during a trip . I haven’t tested out a telephoto lens but I have tried a 24mm with a wide aperture from Viltrox. I believe I have made a playlist. Have a look , you might find what you need.

Hello. I tried to use a fresh lavaliere of 4 pins with this camera, and it did not pick up any sound; then I used a shotgun mic of also 4 pins and it DID work. Is it just how the camera is? or is there a setting/tricky thing I should consider? Notice: the lavaliere worked will with iphone's voice recorder.

Hey Hermano, that’s strange! What’s the brand of the lavalier you have tried? So far I had no problems with mine… that’s very strange. If it works with Bluetooth there is a setting on the menu you can have a look at. Best of luck !

@@Celineonyoutube I think it's because the lavaliere I have doesn't have a switch for (phone/Camera) while the shotgun mic I also have does have that switch. I will order a lavaliere with a switch and hopefully it will work. Do you have a phone/camera switch in your lav? the brand of mine is a FeelTek Omni-Directional 6m with frequency range: 75Hz-20kHz. both mics I have are wired, not bluetooth.

What I don't like about the sony zv10 is the mode button. many times i get confused.i think i have the video mode while it is in S&Q mode i go home and watch the video in slow motion and no sound.. (CRAZY!) i wish there was a switch not a button or it would show a different color rec in frame in S&Q (eg Yellow) and normal rec (red) Sorry for my English!

When wearing sunglasses your screen is going blank because your sunglass is polarised. Use a normal sunglass and it will work just fine

I have a feeling that the reason you don't see anything on the LCD screen when you have sunglasses is because you have polarized sunglasses. If so, then that would happen with any other screen.

Awesome review, Celine! I'm looking for a second camera other than my a6100 and considering the ZV-E10 but your review is steering me towards picking another a6100. The deal breakers for me would be the unpredictable crop factor on the E10 (I noticed that it crops more as soon as you press record) which would make framing the shot much more difficult (My a6100 doesn't seem to have all that weird crop). Also looks like they added a lot of features that sound useful (like the built in mic and the bg defocus) but in reality you would be better off plugging an external mic and choosing a wide aperture lens for the bokeh. The other so called advantage would be the stabilization but it's practically unusable as you mentioned due to the crop once again. I am really leaning towards buying another a6100 although it's a bit more expensive and 2 years older than this new model, but I would love to hear your input on this. Hey! Thank you very much for your feedback! I’m glad you have reached out to me. As far as I can remember the a6100 has a good autofocus but not as good as the ZV-E10 (it’s very sharp). And it also doesn’t have a IBIS (in body stabilisation). The ZV-E10 has a good microphone, I was glad I could have a walk outside without wearing a lavmic , it was fun to take out the camera and press record and that was it . I haven’t tested the a6100 so I can’t say about the crop (I would be surprised if it doesn’t crop at 4K (and more than 25fps). The good thing if you have APS-C e-mount lenses with wide angle of view you can enjoy filming in 4K and the crop might not bother you as much as with the kit lens. Overall I enjoyed the ZV-E10 and the crisp slow motion footage , the microphone and less the stabilisation (and the crop). A as second camera I would go for it ! Just keep in mind not to shoot above 25fps in 4K if you don’t want a crop (or in slow motion 😅). Either way, the A6100 or ZV-E10, if you are a Sony user you’ll have all the accessories for both (like extra batteries for instance, they do use the same model). I hope I helped a bit

The reason why you cannot see is that most sunglasses are polarized, if your sunglasses isn’t polarized (or maybe you can get a anti-polarized screen filter), you’ll be able to see the screen with your sunglasses.
