I liked how they had Sonya work harder than the others. Everyone else had a mark except her, but she still shows she shouldn't be underestimated, and she finally proved herself by taking Kanos mark from him. I like it when they show how someone works and fights for something important and it pays off big time.

Agreed. There's a trend in movies nowadays where female protagonists are just born more powerful than everyone else and that's not very satisfying storytelling. It's much better when the hero has to train / work for their power.

That's what I always liked but sonya. She is the batman of mortal kombat. She wins against powerful enemies with her fighting skills, her strategies, and her tech! She works hard and never gives up. She is brave not afraid to face people more powerful then hers The movie kinda ruined it by giving her super powers. But I like how they made her work hard to get the tattoo . Unlike others she had to earn her own tattoo.

He wasn't bullet proof. Watch the scene again. The bullet did some damage to him but it wasn't enough to kill him. Sonya then ran out of bullets and used her knives to stab him ... That too wasn't enough Kano took out his heart in the end.

I was disappointed with the mileena fight. The flip was fire, no argument. But it was a lot of "slash, block, parry, slash, block, parry". There wasn't a lot of dynamics added to it almost like it was an afterthought. THAT being said, love the acctress and I hope they lean into Mileena being a clone and she comes back (i know she doesnt though :-()
