Won't speak about other things but if used right it makes perfect Poached eggs ...I have a medium size Mic , no wattage markings on it ( older model ) I found if sprayed wit spray oil first , Put 1 teaspoon water in first , then add 2 X Large or Jumbo eggs salt & pepper then Nuke for 50 Seconds & let it sit for 1 minute then check & if white isn't quite done add another 10 Secs & should be done & the best looking poached eggs with liquid yolks should be result ... Of course a little tweaking might be needed because of wattage of your microwave ...If 50 secs is too much go to 45 or even 40 secs but for my mic 50 plus letting sit for a min then added 10 secs is my magic number ... Good luck ..🥚🥚🍳🍳

This mimics a TAGENE, which is a cooking pot used in North Africa and the middle East. It cooks things quick and keeps food warm. Earthenware is known for its natural heat conveyance.

Enjoyed the tutorial. With a little tweaking, I would say this is a nice product. Ideal for a teen, college student, or someone not used to cooking. And I love eggs. A lil salt and pepper...... 👀

these can be used in your regular oven and barbeques/ fireplaces and make great soup bowls (the handles are cooler). I've seen bowls like these used for French onion soup (they can go under broiler to melt cheese), hearty chile, even ramin. They are usually a lot more expensive than $1.

@purpleandguineapigs7 жыл бұрын
instructions are just guidelines. cooking times will vary as do the wattage of microwaves. it dies take some trial and error too. you can't make a fair assesment just by using it one time. you could have cooked the egg less or the pancake longer. once you use the item a few times and get the hang of it and how it works with "your" microwave then it would be faster to use it. Even if it isn't that much faster it would still be an excellent option for someone who doesn't have or use a stove like in a dorm room, or a bachelor or boarding room or an nursing home room or elderly person who can't safely use a stove or even older kids. it like when you first use an oven. Every oven cooks differently so you got to get used to yours. Also a coffee maker. Every coffee maker is different when you first get one you gotta make coffee a few times until you get to know wether 3scoops or 4 scoops or more is better for a full pot. ya get what I'm sayin? i feel you did not give it a chance or a very good assesment. use it and tweek your cooking time or the cooking power number in you micriwave. Then after giving it a fair chance make an assesment.

purpleandguineapigs I agree with you absolutely!
@drd68937 жыл бұрын
purpleandguineapigs i understand what you're saying, however it claims to be a fast cooking and easy baking while i do agree that everything in regards to microwave cooking always needs adjusting to follow a list of steps the egg was only 20 second, sit 20.. then one more 20 second cook i was surprised it was rubbery and I'm partial to my oven cooking but if you, or anyone else has suggestions, id love to hear that cooking? and times?

I'm gonna tell you what. You can use one of those smaller tupperware containers for eggs. Put the egg in the container, microwave it for about 40 to 60 seconds and it did the same thing. I do this a lot. I then usually put it on an English muffin with a piece of Canadian bacon and some catsup. Quick 2 minute on the go breakfast.
