My observations and based on best of my knowledge: 1. These are available globally and it is not only ring but also bracelet, necklace etc. and all operate through a wallet system which is a PCI standard. 2. People using public transport will not spend thousands for these rings. 3. Not sure how they are giving cash back, but if it is through additional % on MDR (Merchant Discount Rate), Merchant Acceptance will be tough particularly in India. 4. Cross Border transactions could be a challenge (which is an opportunity to make actual big money). 5. If this gets missed, it will be difficult to find it. 6. Behavioral change for merchants (apart from big merchants where POS are used frequently) to use POS rather than a simple scan by customers to pay and make customers to load the wallet every time (like PayTM wallet) will also be a challenge.
