Samdish’s interviews feel like the indie, parallel, or alt cinema of the interview world. He sometimes dives into ultra-commercial, mass-entertainment conversations but always adds his signature twist. I think Samdish has some level of difficulty completely empathizing with these people. He might appear to be empathetic, but it often comes across as an awkward act. He very well realizes that these are just pawns that he needs to show to sell his material (Poverty porn). Perhaps because he has never had to WORK a real job in his life. He comes from a fairly privileged background. He associates and connects easily with the celebrity-types or the publicity-seeking types because he understands their motivations and behaviour. I think he cannot ( and to be fair, most of us also cannot) fathom what sacrifices a family has to be make to live off INR 12-15K a month...

Great work by Samdish, and I deeply admire the work of Anurag Saxena. For those who haven’t realized this yet-we live in a jungle raj. The government isn’t here to help you; its sole purpose is to seize and maintain power. If you rely on it for support, you will only set yourself up for disappointment and suffering. This is not BJP vs left wing. It applies for all parties In this world, without a strong education or skillset, society will not care about you-harsh but true. No one owes you anything. The working population is exploited because supply far outstrips demand, and in an oversaturated job market, the system will wring you dry while paying you as little as possible. And if you find yourself struggling, please think twice before having many children-you’ll only be passing down your struggles, not breaking free from them.

What I liked about the video: 1. Fact that someone made an effort to interview this person. How many other interviews you have seen that interviews someone similar to the person being interviewed in this video? 2. As Anurag himself admitted in the video, what he does may not make him rich and he may not be popular with his own family members because of the path he has choosen. But he will be popular amongst others. 3. Yes, his work may never make headlines. But the lives of people he is able to impact even marginally will go a long way in their lives. 4. Lastly at least we have people like Anurag who lives to make the lives of the marginalized better. Who are still working for MINIMAL wages, let alone fair wages.

One thing that truly leaves me helpless and confused is why the working class doesn’t think about these issues when casting their votes. Why? Maybe the answer is right here in this video-where a party hands out ₹500 once during elections. If that’s all it takes, it’s no surprise that daily wage workers vote for them after taking the money. The problem with our society is that Ananda Bazar Patrika, the most widely circulated newspaper in Bengal, propagated the narrative that trade unions were responsible for Bengal’s decline. However, the same publication laid off its own employees last year. This reflects a broader strategy where capitalist owners dismiss workers while simultaneously shaping public opinion to vilify trade unions. As a result, any protest by employees against such actions is framed as destructive, reinforcing an anti-worker sentiment.

Opposing Indian army fighting Chinese. These are leaches all leaders warn . These Left are totally filled by upper caste people so that they can exploit people while talking good for them.
