VM is person who knows how to manage is talent and get maximum out of it. Ilayaraja gave life to these three guys. ARR is the gentle and humble. Mani was influenced by Balachander and created a lobby against Ilayaraja. Ilayaraja is unstoppable and has reached 1200 movies. Diamandu is characterless guy and rift with guru - the one who gave him life. Diamandu is highly artificial and not genuine to his conscience as well as to his family. He was also a part of the Balachander's lobby against Ilayaraja. Many people who don't know Ilayaraja personally say that Ilayaraja is egoistic, it's not correct. Ilayaraja never run behind the money. He gave life to many directors and producers. He didn't charge money from many new directors who were aspiring to become a good director and to show their talents to the cine field. Ilayaraja has been living like a monk with disciplined way of life since 1976. He has been contributing to the south Indian diaspora in terms of quality music as well as native music even in this age. We must respect him for his contributions and should not get into the politics of Balachander lobby. Ilayaraja is one the greatest music geniuses in the world. All Indians know about it. We are blessed to have that genius amongst us.

We don't know the real story but in one way iliyaraja gave life to arrehman...there were more clashes or misunderstandings between maniratnam and iliyaraja and the same was there for k balachander also....that is the reason y balachander, Bharathi raja and all old directors started choosing rehman...
