Please, support this movie. Not only because Antonio Banderas and Alice Eve are wonderfully gifted actors, but everyone involved has backed Ms. Eve in this role. Ms. Eve was blacklisted for statements she made. I hope she did not have to recant in order to get this role. All but for a very few, women have far fewer productive years in film, while male actors are offered older characters to play. Ms. Eve lost precious years in the industry.

@@perce1veALL 100%. I wish they’d had more time (money) to push for more natural takes. It feels like a stage show, with unconvincing line delivery, and what I assume is actors waiting for a line delivery, or momentarily trying to pull their own out of their head. It looks well shot, well lit… I didn’t mind the score from memory. The discussion between our hero & the bartender seemed fine. As soon as the man in the suit entered the picture I was wondering if he was cast through nepotism rather than a perceived talent. The script and story line from that point on became lazy and generic. It’s a very strange scene to share. They must have known it wasn’t good. It’s not eye claweringly bad… it reminds me of a movie scene I’d have created in my head as I lay in bed before nodding off imagine a hero scene for myself, something I did when I was young to try and force an action movie dream.
