When we went to Peru to work with the church in LIma in 1986, our children wrote to Michael Bond, author of the Paddington books, to ask if Paddington would like to come with us to visit Aunt Lucy in her retirement home in Lima. We got a lovely reply back, with lots of Paddington pawprints, saying that Paddington was quite happy in London and would continue to keep in touch with Aunt Lucy by writing letters to her (no email in those days). It seems from this film that Paddington has changed his mind, having thought about it for 38 years.

The second I saw that image on the Rotten Tomatoes Trailers channel of Paddington doing one of his hard stares from the end of this trailer, though had a feeling he was doing it to either Olivia Colman's nun character or Antonio Banderas' character, the latter as we see ending up with, I said to myself, "I think we all know what Paddington's doing!"
