You ever think how crazy Sarah has come considering she’s basically done everything by herself? I mean all the other channels have friends, mechanics and shops that are there everyday to help and Sarah has just been grinding and actually killing the game.

Sarah, In my own perfect opinion, I enjoy the way you Vlog and Blog in the same video. You have such wonderful witty humor and I do not mind the time lapse when you are wrenching a bolt. You work so hard now, I vote to keep Sarah -n- Tuned and have a vlog episode or just go vloggy in the bloggy.

The guy that taught me to paint cars told me once that the first thing you do to paint a car is wash it, the second thing you do is wash it again. This way you make sure that you got 99.9% of the dirt off of it. The next thing is wax and grease remover. I followed his advice and never had any problems. Anything you put on this channel your fans are going to watch, we all just love you and the things you do no matter what it is.

What's up Garage Sarah! ✌🏻 I stopped buying used cars for reasons like that... I can turn wrenches with the best of them, and used to do custom metal fab and offroad fabrication and welding, but the last used vehicle I got started falling apart within the first 2 days. That was the last time I was going to allow myself to get burned. Since then, it's been brand new with a warranty. UNLESS I decide on a specific project vehicle, then I already expect to spend countless hours and $$$ fixing other people's f***-ups and problems, and most times it's best to just start snatching things completely in pieces and start over with a full-rebuild of the entire vehicle, and mostly new/refreshed parts.

Having a second channel to differentiate your content types sounds like a good idea in principal but you have to worry about diluting your subscriber base for both channels. Use PP corrugated board (plastic board). it is a dual-layer plastic material that is very lightweight and is used for advertising signs. You can cut it with a razor knife, tape the edges and use pan-head screws or velcro to hold it in place. It is also called polyplast or flute-board, comes in a variety of colors, easy to find, cheap and is as thin as 2mm.

While I'm far from an expert, I've heard other KZbinrs mention that the only reason that they have separate channels is that they want to provide a different style of vid (such as vlogging) that will likely have fewer views than most of their typical content. Because the YT algorithm supposedly lessens your exposure if your average view numbers go down, this method protects their video recommendation rate. Thanks as always for your fun content, Sarah!

Hey Sarah - metal work - cut,(shears) fold or bend (break) and bead roll (Rollers) for strength flat panels welding is a puddle to keep moving, I do enjoy your videos your a good mechanic and able to fix most things. Metal can be very sharp - Its a very long list of things you can get to setup a shop.... you might think about specifics or types of work you do to a car if its repair, modify etc. What you work you might do. Just my 2c or opinion - ah your fine do what is need for other videos (Time to edit ?). Good to hear you address the damage and safety concerns of driving the focus. I like ford blue for the focus.

@droppindeuces69814 жыл бұрын
Sarah, Love your videos, they really brighten my day! A few words of advice from a long time dirt rider... It looks like you may want to either loose or augment that K&N air filter (as evidenced by dirt on the filtered side of your air box). While a K&N allows more air flow and while they work fine for relativly clean air (on pavement), off road racers and dirt bike riders can tell you that type of guaze air filter alone, does not trap fine dust particles. They need a finer mesh pre-filter (often reffered to as a "sock"). I would sugest that you consider fabricating a two stage foam air filter, oiled to trap fine dust like in a dirt bike. OR, just run an OEM type paper filter. Either way, if you have run that K&N in the dirt for very long, you may want to do a compression check. Just a suggestion that could save you an engine rebuild. CHEERS!

One channel - The mix of content is a USP for me. Two channels, I think you work hard enough and too many hours already to give us the quality of content with a high bar you've set yourself. And giving what you can of you. I like the odd vlog or sunset drink down a dirt road to break it up. For me anyway, ebbs and flows is the key to mixing it up after all!
@w1jim4 жыл бұрын
Door cards I'd go with aluminum sheets. Seal them to limit dust intrusion. The rear openings I'd leave as is. You never know during a rally when you might dent in the sides and want access on the backside to kick them back into shape. It's important to make things quick and easy to repair between stages and at service. You should go to a rally and check out the other cars during tech and parc ferme to get build ideas. You'll also want a roof scoop for ventilation. It's up high which will limit dust versus the OEM vents which are lower. You may also want to consider leaving the AC in. Yes it'll decrease power but at this stage while you're learning comfort is far more important than that last few horsepower. Since you don't have a tow vehicle, trailer, service crew, codriver and a bunch of other stuff you should focus (haha) on running rallycross. It's a joy to watch you driving in the dirt! I'm a stage captain at the New England Forest Rally and the Empire State Performance Rally - so it's in my blood. But this season due to the pandemic I've been denied. Cousin Dos

As to your creating a second vlog channel I know we your viewers would welcome it (Yippee!) 🙏 but not at the expense of you giving up even more of your personal life & wearing yourself down to the point where KZbin & Instagram postings become a chore. Part of the irresistible charm of this channel is your approach to life and your resilience in the face of setbacks 😊 If your sister is coming to help you with the channel(s) then I say go for it. You are a great inspiration to many people so no one wants to see you wear yourself out creating content. And if creating a second channel will help you with your getting a bigger place to work on automobiles then by all means go ahead 👍
