My recommendations: "Hitori no Yoru" It's a beautiful Japanese song by TXT. I highly recommend to check out the live version. "Hitori no Yoru - TXT ACT: SWEET MIRAGE In Japan (日/한/ ENG) Lyrics" by the account Hour light posted a great quality version of the song with the eng lyrics. "Dear Sputnik" (no official mv, but you can check out the lyrics video). 2 of the members HueningKai and Taehyun contributed to the lyrics and Hueningkai also produced the song.

@@saism4570Seconding both of these. I don't think "Hitori no Yoru" will be your favorite kind of music, but the lyrics are very pretty, so I'm sure it'll be a fun reaction anyway. I'd take all lyric videos for "Hitori no Yoru" with a grain of salt, though, if you ever get to it; I haven't seen anyone with a fully accurate translation yet.

When you said it felt like home i got emotional because Soobin's nickname is "home". 숩(soob) in hangul looks like a home image so it's like he's our comfort person, txt's leader and our home 💖

Thank you for reacting to Soobin! He's TxT's leader, and also sometimes get a bit pressured as such, being an introvert and all. He has a beautiful falsetto voice and unique tone. This is his first cover song, the other members also released their covers as well. Unfortunately, covers are only available here on YT and on Soundcloud, not on Spotify. Soobin always says that being so introverted has made him feel different. He's very sensitive and thinks a lot. As someone introspective myself, I am clear that while one is more self-aware, the more alone and strange one can feel, even if surrounded by people. I think this song meant a lot to Soobin because he has always had moments where he has questioned his place, not only in the group, but in life. He has openly talked about his internal conflicts, one of them linked to identity. It's a beautiful song and a beautiful cover. His voice is soft and comforting. I really appreciate your reaction :) Hope you can react to more TXT songs! I recommend the song 'Eternally' (first the song with the lyrics and then the MV since in the MV the song is cut several times to tell a story and it's worth watching both) ♡♡♡

I'm Korean😊 but i don't understand the exact meaning of lyrics of this song, the lyrics are profound and so beautiful and poetic tho. Soobin got a lot of comfort and consolation from the original version of this song and he sang this song to convey those feelings to his fans. Isn't it so beautiful?😇

Thank you for a fun reaction ^_^ I was hoping to get to this on Patreon, but I didn't lmao so here I am on KZbin. Anyway, I'm sure people on Patreon also mentioned this, but yes, the song is a cover. Originally, it's a piano ballad with no guitar, and the original singer is a woman. Soobin said that the company wasn't sure about him releasing this cover, but that he really wanted to do it because this song comforted him when he was having a hard time last year, and now that he's feeling better, he hopes it will comfort the fans who might need it. The lyric video, as I'm sure you realized afterwards, isn't completely _wrong,_ but it's not entirely right either. The song is much more about the narrator's own self rather than someone else. It does reference someone the singer is pining for, but a lot of the lyrics are meant in terms of "I" and not "you." For example, "Are you going to sink into the water?" is supposed to be, "Am I going to sink into the water?" This is an easy mistake to make since Korean--which I will mention I am not fluent in, but the grammar shares similarities to a language I _do_ speak--often omits the subject of the sentence entirely, so the lyric video's translation isn't technically wrong. It's just not what Choi Yuree (original singer) meant, according to what she's said about the song in interviews and such. The song does talk about someone that the singer has feelings for, like I said before, but the actual text is much more about the struggles that the _singer_ is going through personally, which happens to include those feelings, rather than the romance being The Point. This is only speculation, but I have to wonder if part of the reason Soobin loves this song so much is that it feels a little like an identity crisis. "I want to be the forest...Ah, was I the sea and not the forest? ...I guess I was the forest," etc. Soobin has said often that he's struggled with his extreme introversion in an industry and career where his job is to be seen and to engage with people. He loves singing and performing, but he's said many times that he's hyperconscious of the fact that his personality is, in his view, not what a typical celebrity would or "should" be. He's more than a little insecure about his public image as a result. Something about that feels like it really resonates with the text of this song. Also. I, too, love giant bodies of water. They're just incredible.
