*SOON WITHDRAWN* | PT 2: Full Journey on Route 276 | Enviro 200 | LX59AOL/SLN 36360 | 8th Apr 2024

Second episode of the series! It’s a little bit different from the others, which is nice to twist it up a little bit. Most of the reason why this series is different is because of the route location, as I haven’t been to that part of London much, and certainly haven’t recorded there since recently, in this series. Starting off with the title, sadly these buses are getting withdrawn from this route pretty much soon if I’m not mistaken, which will be replaced by new electric buses in a matter of time, so that’s your sign to catch these 2009 Stagecoach enviro 200 darts before they all get withdrawn from this route starting from Newham Hospital, and Terminating at Stoke Newington on the other side of the route. Funnily enough though, this one was making a repeated squeaky noise just as it departed from Newham Hospital that lasted for about a minute, which really baffled me as I was really wondering where it actually came from 🤣 The route is interesting though, not something I really expected or experienced like before, it’s a little bit different as it goes through a part of London that I have barely covered, which was nice in that way. Firstly it goes through Newham area via the roads and neighbourhoods, which is a little bit more urban than some neighbourhoods elsewhere in London, which soon ends up in Stratford Bus Station, which then goes through more estate filled industrial neighbourhoods towards Hackney, then a last bit longer with the same kind of area until the route finally makes its end at Stoke Newington Common, which is basically the town centre. Overall though, I’d recommend trying this route as it’s a bit quirky, but try catch it while these 2009/2011 buses are still here!
