OU wins every matchup man for man vs Navy. The hardest part of this will be the defensive discipline, and coach V has been shown to get that side prepared. What remains is how much energy we show up with.

I really hope to see guys like Davion, Okoye, Boganowski, Hardy and Powers rotate in. Hopefully these receivers show something because for as much flak as Joe Jon gets Dennis Simmons doesn’t have a good track record at all recruiting receivers.

Whoever says the defensive performance is the key to this game hasn’t watched us play this year. We win this game only if the offense can perform halfway productively and taking care of the ball. Navy, It’s a creative offense and they can surprise you with the passing game but come on, just because they run the ball out of the option our defense isn’t going to go from one of the best Rush defenses in the country, playing in the SEC against our schedule only to get ran over by Navy. We lost a ton on the offensive side at the skill positions, addition by subtraction to me but we still will have a lot of young and inexperienced players at ALL of the skill positions. Our OL should be more than fine and if we don’t run the ball all over them I will be surprised, big time.

I'm tired of hearing its a meaningless game. It's not. It's the difference between a winning season and a losing season. When people look back at this they aren't going to take into account it was a meaningless bowl game. Plus Brent needs to win a bowl, he's 0 and 2. Yeah, I get it that there isn't a championship at the end of this but for the program getting a win on Friday is massively important.
