Oklahoma needs to go to a 3-4. With the athletes, that are there, there is no reason to why Oklahoma can't have a defense like the one Bama has. The talent is there, I believe the defensive scheme is the only thing holding them back.

"Big" 12 (10) status and future outlook: 1. Choke-lahoma is the only hope of putting up a national contender any time soon.. like in the next 10 years or so. But they have proven time and again that they are nothing but pretenders against a solid team with a defense that actually plays defense.

9. West Virginia is a light version of Texas Tech. Coming from the worst BCS conference to the 2nd worst has proven that they are in over their heads against the riff raff of the "Big" 12. It looks like football is a TEAM sport after all. 10. Kansas should stick to basketball. Nuff said. The "Big" 12(10) should really consider merging with the MAC or WAC. It's the same brand of football, and it's fun to watch until you play a real team.

3. KSU is, by far, the best coached team in the league. It's a shame that they cannot get the same recruits that OU and Texas have. Snyder would actually build a national powerhouse.. not a bunch of paper tigers. 4. OSU.. what can I say? They will always be a mediocre team, no matter how much money Pickens pours into their facilities. OSU will forever be the 2nd best team in Oklahoma, and that's not saying too much.

5. Texas Tech plays circus football. Sure, they may be able to pull off the upset now and then, but let's face it.. they really suck. 6. Baylor is playing like Baylor again, and the avalanche of losses has only started. They will be cannon fodder in 2 years once again. Bowl games will be a distant memory.
