Ooh small suggestion! Since you'll be tapping a tree or rock to remove them now, maybe for the mobile version you could add a function where instead of tapping you long-hold? I thought that a window that asks "are you sure?" doesn't fit the game's vibes ahahaha. All the best! (And I just joined the discord today! Everyone seems so cool cx)

Sadly I don't plan on making a mobile version of this game, it would require me to remake a lot of stuff and it wasn't ever really in the plans

I got an idea for the level-up reward. When you level up, you gain a free "destruction". This makes the reward always be useful and not too overpowered.

I have an idea for the tool system. Have the jelli be the one the breaks the tree or rocks! It could add a lot of charm to the game and you can implement a system where using tools uses up hunger, so there is still a reason not to use the tools.

I was looking at the tiled background and have an idea, what if the trees would grow in the background too, and there will be a layer system that let you switch between the front tiles and the background tiles

Have you thought about adding a button to toggle the UI on/off mid-game? When you need to see the information, you hit the button, and boom. It’s there. Then you can hit it again so the game goes back to being immersive.

I have but you need to see the UI often so it's a lot of turning it on and off and ultimately didn't feel good

Ok, i know you don't wanna break emersion and charm of the game by moving tools to the UI, but u just had a decent idea(or not, it's up to you) what if there will be a tool bag in UI, but you still need to drag them from it and use them on the trees, grass and all the stuff

As a game developer, you gotta think about what you want your game to feel like. You gotta decide between what's "realistic" and what's fun. Remember, this is a video game. People play video games to have fun and escape from reality, not be reminded of it lol. If I wanted realism from a game, I'd just go touch grass. Also, just saying, but having a tool not on the UI and disappear from my hands when I'm not holding onto it would actually make me less immersed in the world cause uh, real tools don't just magically disappear if you're not holding onto it lmao

Now there's not really any use of having there be different tools though, is there? Unless you somehow can upgrade individual tools other than leveling up. Still a nice visual touch to have a tool next to the thing you're harvesting though, as it makes it immediately clear what you're doing.

Jelly Fields sounds like a pretty good game except... It's a game you would play for maybe an hour and then--- It needs a bigger plot, I don't know what that would be but you just fix a couple of trains and then probably won't play again. You need to add something BIG so the player won't loose intrest. Maybe you could grow your Jelly or build a home for your Jelly or something. Maybe somebody steals your Jelly once you fix a few trains. Don't take this an insult, or somebody being mean to you, it's constructive criticism. Just an idea, okay? I don't know. It needs something BIG
