Soooo many yabbies in just 1 check of the nets

How many people have pulled a bait trap out of the water and found this many yabbies in it? My nets were crawling with yabbies, particularly the second net. There were so many yabbies that I had to speed up the footage while I emptied the nets and counted the yabbies, just to make sure the video was not too long.

This is the best yabbying. It is not uncommon to experience yabbying this good. In fact, I have experienced yabbying like this but with really big yabbies and that is the best.
Shrimp net, bait trap, yabby nets call it what you like, they still all work well at catching yabbies as I am sure you will see in this video.

I can just imagine the conversation amongst the big yabbies in the bucket. First yabbie says...."I was told by lots of yabbies at the bottom of the pond to go into Robbies net when he comes. You get a great feed of dog biscuits then he films you to put on KZbin and then puts you back into the pond unharmed". Second yabbie says.....Why didnt he put us back? I wonder what happens to us?

I'm in the the US and I stopped by the seafood department to price crawfish. $12.99/lb, frozen cleaned tails, and they only come in 2lb packages. They're more expensive than lobster!

As well I searched up gambusia and it come up with mosquito fish the same fish that you see in the videos from the people in the USA and I did not no they put them in Australia waters I’m surprised it wasn’t another food source for cod and yellow belly and it wouldn’t be bad because obviously the bass love them which they seem to be quite similar to the Murray cod

One of my biggest pet hates is seeing fish left to die a slow death, and that includes carp. So the gambusia should not be any different. I'm on your wavelength mate. Sometimes with small critters it is easy to not think properly.

Hi mate, this video was filmed with a GoPro hero5. The lizard video were filmed with a Panasonic G9 with a 100-300 lens. Some of the photos were taken with a Canon EOS 7D mk2. I often use my Canon G7x mk2 and my G9x mk2 as well as various microphones. The video is edited using Movavi video editor.

Hi Gary, no mate I just enjoy different techniques. In the yabby video prior to this called "yabbying with Jodiebthe spider girl" I was using them. I do like that I can bait these up with dog food as they have a pouch. I dont have to go to the supermarket, buy lambs fry and then get covered in blood. LOL

Yes I am fully aware that they are not monsters and fully aware that I was using bait traps, but thanks for pointing that out anyway. If you follow my channel you will see that I have caught some quite large yabbies recently. I don't head out specifically to catch the biggest yabbies in some kind of attempt to prove myself to anybody mate. I set out to have fun....and that's exactly what I done.

Sure do mate, I LOVE my dogs. We have a bull terrier cross named Jaffa (She's my dog) and a 3 legged greyhound named Bonnie (She's my eldest daughters dog). We only got Bonnie recently under the Greyhound Adoption Program. We had her 1 day and she broke her leg so badly that it had to be amputated. Such a horrible time. But she is OK now and is as happy as ever.
