Fun fact: Bill Ruger developed the transfer bar system for single action six shooters. This transfer bar system allowed all six chambers to be loaded without the risk of accidental discharge because the transfer bar wouldn’t be in place until the hammer is cocked. And we still put them in our single actions today.

@@ghostpirate7733 On a revolver like shown in the video, it's frowned upon to load all six cylinders, as an accidental bump on the hammer can fire a round if on a loaded chamber. The transfer bar is a part that prevents the firing pin from being bumped into a cylinder on accident.

What are "snap caps"?? Those little orange things you put in the six shooter, what are they for?

Those are plastic replicas of .22 cal ammunition. They are useful for teaching or practicing how to load and unload and fire your firearm safely in the comfort of your home. Centerfire caliber snapcaps are made out of metal. Just make sure they are designed for dry firing (they have a spring under the center to give a little when struck by the firing pin). There are some that are not designed for dry firing and those will break your firing pin because they don't give when struck by the firing pin.

Its not. When the slide is pulled back on most handguns the barrel raises in pitch a little bit. When the slide moves forward the barrel goes back to perfectly parrallel. The barrels essentially "float"

Being gentle may allow it to jam or not fully return to battery. I prefer to pull it back and let it slide forward under its own power to return to battery.

Often a side by ide or an Over/Under 2 barrel shotgun has 2 triggers, you'd need to pull both at the same time, I don't believe I have ever seen a real one that fires both from one trigger pull
